For the inside I did the same embossing as the front and stamped a sentiment.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Thanks so much for stopping by! :)</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Terri</span></div><p></p>Terri Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05169282165552483977noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5748808609939591184.post-41759719073445384112024-03-03T17:08:00.000-06:002024-03-03T17:08:10.926-06:00Sympathy Card<p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgry-QHIKI4zKjCj8dA8hI51IKK5YXZhhGfbjmQzQDMzuzGseB1wKJl9B_B1wXlry_LeMwwG20w6LeX8G4cXHi7SQ-tOi5GYiy7ztPsPxt8eI9CJOsoW908exT20uX9saQNEJofJ4JUMxQMe_wVAnFelQNppeeO2FYSoYpPB7qYq_is3NVvh8CcBbCYGtA/s1818/brown%20sympathy%20front.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1818" data-original-width="1345" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgry-QHIKI4zKjCj8dA8hI51IKK5YXZhhGfbjmQzQDMzuzGseB1wKJl9B_B1wXlry_LeMwwG20w6LeX8G4cXHi7SQ-tOi5GYiy7ztPsPxt8eI9CJOsoW908exT20uX9saQNEJofJ4JUMxQMe_wVAnFelQNppeeO2FYSoYpPB7qYq_is3NVvh8CcBbCYGtA/w474-h640/brown%20sympathy%20front.jpg" width="474" /></a><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgry-QHIKI4zKjCj8dA8hI51IKK5YXZhhGfbjmQzQDMzuzGseB1wKJl9B_B1wXlry_LeMwwG20w6LeX8G4cXHi7SQ-tOi5GYiy7ztPsPxt8eI9CJOsoW908exT20uX9saQNEJofJ4JUMxQMe_wVAnFelQNppeeO2FYSoYpPB7qYq_is3NVvh8CcBbCYGtA/s1818/brown%20sympathy%20front.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEdB5Q2dGCo9UdT-BgLUH8aX3Kzr0FVRYbFLcx0p-kD087dsTeyHGUEFL6zf1utMQ4G3LP1BWBXZoO3GzOB6o_IFt9le_TPzw9KDsJT1FlSAktMuCECwfuTZAT7aXnSmcOc__XBFO8jsjexaAI-5cP8XpF5xlP5sGQhx6Iyu2TFuTX1wQQj18YWNdEuIg/s1532/brown%20sympathr%20inside.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1532" data-original-width="1174" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEdB5Q2dGCo9UdT-BgLUH8aX3Kzr0FVRYbFLcx0p-kD087dsTeyHGUEFL6zf1utMQ4G3LP1BWBXZoO3GzOB6o_IFt9le_TPzw9KDsJT1FlSAktMuCECwfuTZAT7aXnSmcOc__XBFO8jsjexaAI-5cP8XpF5xlP5sGQhx6Iyu2TFuTX1wQQj18YWNdEuIg/w490-h640/brown%20sympathr%20inside.jpg" width="490" /></a></div></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Supplies:</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Stamps: Lizzie Anne Designs and Stampendous: Sympathy</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Paper: Taupe from stash, PaperCut Whip Cream, Paper Rose: Country Quilt 6x6 </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Ink: Vivid: Taupe</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Accessories: Pink Fresh: Folk Edge Circles, Waffle Flower Circle Dies, Honey Bee Gems, SU Dimensionals</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Hello Stampers! Here is the card that inspired my card.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://images.splitcoaststampers.com/data/gallery/500/2013/03/19/DSC02054_by_yo_sam.JPG?ts=1363739306" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="800" height="300" src="https://images.splitcoaststampers.com/data/gallery/500/2013/03/19/DSC02054_by_yo_sam.JPG?ts=1363739306" width="400" /></a></div>For my card I used a car instead of an airplane, a gnome instead of Eeyore, and heart balloons instead of round balloons. To make my card I started with the gnome, it is a bit time consuming but it is worth it. It is so darn cute! Next I cut a panel of white and matted it with blue cardstock. I cut it so the balloons would go over the top a bit. For the background I die cut the pierced hearts and adhered it to the card base. For the inside I duplicate the pierced heart background and then cut a white panel and matted it in blue. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment on the inside panel.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">That's all for now! Here is the card I CASED:<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://images.splitcoaststampers.com/data/gallery/19788/2013/02/25/LOVEFEST2013E_by_debhorst.JPG?ts=1361802611" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="432" height="400" src="https://images.splitcoaststampers.com/data/gallery/19788/2013/02/25/LOVEFEST2013E_by_debhorst.JPG?ts=1361802611" width="346" /></a></div>For my card I started by picking out some patterned paper. Then I picked out some coordinating Distress Inks. I ink blended a background, and die cut it into an oval. Next I stamped the silhouette image. I decided to use a dark brown instead of black. I thought it would compliment the soft colors I chose. I thought black would be too stark. Next I cut the patterned paper, stamped a sentiment, and adhered it to the card base. I used some wavy trim to polish up the edge of the patterned paper. And to finish the front I added some butterflies to the focal image, matted it with pebbled path cardstock, and popped it up onto the card base. For the inside I stamped and die cut the sentiment and added it to a strip of patterned paper.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!!</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Terri</span></div><p></p>Terri Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05169282165552483977noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5748808609939591184.post-26777045978372993382024-02-04T20:11:00.001-06:002024-02-04T20:11:13.762-06:00Jawsome!<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJIqUKxGg474-mryhV9D1YPbBAOIaaSIzAELIaF1P1XNriD4YD1_-eaib-a1ZgA3HS71IeuV_ZH2ViZX0LZPPrO5PKOYow_ysTkTIhl1Jf3d27GYz-O73nO56Zn6TF-o6l-gtxJBbme4CohIQp5mA1tglUv6xwJVFEVoa0thbr18Wdlw6xT9QtE5pTZx8/s2871/Jawsome%20Front.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2871" data-original-width="2053" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJIqUKxGg474-mryhV9D1YPbBAOIaaSIzAELIaF1P1XNriD4YD1_-eaib-a1ZgA3HS71IeuV_ZH2ViZX0LZPPrO5PKOYow_ysTkTIhl1Jf3d27GYz-O73nO56Zn6TF-o6l-gtxJBbme4CohIQp5mA1tglUv6xwJVFEVoa0thbr18Wdlw6xT9QtE5pTZx8/w458-h640/Jawsome%20Front.jpg" width="458" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6Z7pBpAYzMw096EVmV8iP6OJ_w8YqEN-l4KOADIAxOO4joJHBDoNzRfmYzgE1fgpEnAwYZ9IVsDDSINp_HL3fDbtCnasQ5sz6soa2_JVk_NU1f11oud0QSthDECz95H44tAhGVnckMjrbe86nXWAh3UtykijM8tO2sZBOgDVPHruERPe4wkyt7o2HuzE/s2816/Jawsome%20Inside.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2816" data-original-width="2211" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6Z7pBpAYzMw096EVmV8iP6OJ_w8YqEN-l4KOADIAxOO4joJHBDoNzRfmYzgE1fgpEnAwYZ9IVsDDSINp_HL3fDbtCnasQ5sz6soa2_JVk_NU1f11oud0QSthDECz95H44tAhGVnckMjrbe86nXWAh3UtykijM8tO2sZBOgDVPHruERPe4wkyt7o2HuzE/w502-h640/Jawsome%20Inside.jpg" width="502" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Supplies: </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Stamps: Lawn Fawn Duh-Nuh, Lawn Fawn Happy Everything</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Paper: Gina K white and Colormates: Light, Medium, Dark, and Deep Terrific Teal</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Accessories: Lawn Fawn Duh-Nuh dies, Copic markers, Essentials by Ellen: Strands</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Hello Stampers! I squeezed in one more card this weekend! The CAS challenge on Splitcoaststampers is to make a Valentine with non-traditional colors. To make my card I cut the front panel of my card and then die cut the Strands die. Then I put some low tac tape behind the front panel so I could paper piece the teal pieces into the die cut. I tucked in my die cut shark that I colored with Copic markers into the strands. Then I used my Misti to stamp the sentiment. To complete the front I adhered the front panel to the card front. For the inside I used my Misti to arrange the shark and sentiment, and then colored in the shark with Copics. I adhered this panel to the inside of my card.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Thanks so much for stopping by! It is actually not a stamped image. I die cut the hedgehog with a stitched circle die from the Zoo Crew DSP. The hedgehog wasn't colored in so I used my Copics to color in the image. Then I die cut a scalloped circle as a mat for it. I popped up the focal image on the red scalloped circle and added a twine bow. Next I found some DSP that coordinated with the image and added a strip to the left and added a thin strip of real red cardstock to give the DSP a finished look. To finish the front I used my Stamp a ma Jig to stamp the sentiment. For the inside I added a strip of the DSP and a strip of red cardstock. I heat embossed the sentiment onto a red heart and that completed this card.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">That's all for now! Well I had good intentions to make a couple of cards today, but as I was cutting out the heart for the coffee cup I dropped my heart die cut!! I spent over an hour searching and moving things around to try to find it. It was the first time using this die set, so I was very determined to find the missing heart. I was about to give up when I used a ruler to go under part of my desk, and out came the die cut! I was so relieved. So I was only able to make one card, because I have to make dinner. Maybe if it's not too late I'll make another one after dinner. Anywho, this card is for the <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/featured-stamper-132/fs886-%7B01-28-2024%7D-giogio-646193/">Featured Stamper Challenge</a> over at Splitcoaststampers. I cut my ivory card base, and assembled the coffee cup. Then I cut a strip of patterned paper and matted it with pebbled path. Before adhering it to my patterned paper layer I added a linen thread treatment. Next I stamped and punched the sentiment and punched the background to the sentiment and adhered it to the card. I sponged on some color to the petals and the leaves. Then I worked on the fishtail. Once I got it to the correct length I laid the sunflower on the fishtail, and worked on the sentiment. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold to go with the gold center of the sunflower. I die cut it and laid it onto the fishtail with the sunflower. Once everything was where it was going to be I adhered the sunflower and then popped up the sentiment. For the background I embossed it with the dots of diamonds embossing folder. And adhered all of my layers together. For the inside I did the same layout as the front, stamping a sentiment instead of having a sunflower. </span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">That's all for now! I'm sharing a card that I made for the <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/free-all-45/f4726-hearts-646146/">Free 4 All Challenge: Hearts</a> over at Splitcoaststampers. I started this card by assembling the Valentine gnome. I picked up this Valentine add-on set at a rummage!! It is soo cute! After I completed the gnome, I decided to use the pierced hearts cover plate as the background to the gnome. Then I grounded the gnome with some baker's twine. I wanted some sort of greeting on the front, as I felt it needed a little somethin' somethin'. I found the stitched love image and that was just the ticket. I stamped it and punched it out with the circle punch. Then I trimmed off the top edge so it was in line with the white layer. From here I added a red mat and adhered it to the card. For the inside, I used a stitched heart die to make the heart, and then I used my stamp a ma jig to stamp the greeting inside the heart.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">That's all for now!! We are off of school today, and it is waaay too cold out to do anything. So I made a pot of chili, did some laundry, and squeezed in some cardmaking time. My inspiration came from the <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/clean-simple-cards-239/cas777%7Erich-colors-keep-us-warm%7Ejan-15-2024-a-646122/">Clean and Simple Challenge on Splitcoaststampers</a>. This week it is a color challenge: bravo burgundy, old olive, and more mustard. I love sunflowers and burgundy sunflowers are one of my favorites. So I stenciled the sunflowers with Distress Inks. Then I used my Waffle Flower A2 Layers Dies to frame out my focal point and add a layer of burgundy behind my focal panel. Before I adhered the burgundy layer I used my stamp a ma jig to stamp the sentiment, and added some linen thread with a bow. For the inside I kept it simple. I die cut the fancy label and stamped my sentiment on it. </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">That's all for now! Well we survived the Arctic Blast and now we are experiencing frigid temperatures. What next?! Needless to say we are staying warm inside!! So I might as well make cards right?! I made this card for the <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/featured-stamper-132/fs884-%7B1-14-2024%7D-oscar-t-grouch-646110/">Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers</a>. The featured stamper had scrapbook layouts in her gallery. </span><span style="font-size: large;">That is always a challenge for me to take a scrapbook layout and turn it into a card. But I stumbled upon this scrapbook layout and the wheels started turning! :). <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://images.splitcoaststampers.com/data/gallery/7558/2023/12/16/mfish_messymerry_03_ck_cc_sized_by_Oscar_T_Grouch.jpg?ts=1702763438" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://images.splitcoaststampers.com/data/gallery/7558/2023/12/16/mfish_messymerry_03_ck_cc_sized_by_Oscar_T_Grouch.jpg?ts=1702763438" width="400" /></a></div><br />I stuck with the same color pallette. For the white layer I added some texture by running it through the Big Shot with the snowflake backdrop die. Then for the focal image I die cut the Lawn Fawn stitched snowflake three times and adhered them together for some dimension. Then I adhered this snowflake to a circle matted in evening evergreen. We are having our second snow day this week today! I am grateful for the time off, because I haven't been feeling well. So I slept most of the day, and then decided I was going to make a card! I checked out the sketch over at <a href="https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2024/01/freshly-made-sketches-618-sketch-by.html">Freshly Made Sketches</a>, and decided to play along! <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjjj87PHe1E5Pa26Ced2oTN8yVJFi-F7Lvg-f01Kr18cCh7zWOPSrbHPUzJPQWbNWMayS2heZoKOMLkO72OmXAiX8jDuKPzKL4do_Y0YWwlHZqKJ8K7RSuLC2xOjcjalW1MNPYC0sx2yYiJAhDRcYrFHAJLOMEu3_gHbsO_vBkJ0jjFduRX6RzBHlljvuS/s400/FMS%20Final%20618-001.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="286" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjjj87PHe1E5Pa26Ced2oTN8yVJFi-F7Lvg-f01Kr18cCh7zWOPSrbHPUzJPQWbNWMayS2heZoKOMLkO72OmXAiX8jDuKPzKL4do_Y0YWwlHZqKJ8K7RSuLC2xOjcjalW1MNPYC0sx2yYiJAhDRcYrFHAJLOMEu3_gHbsO_vBkJ0jjFduRX6RzBHlljvuS/s320/FMS%20Final%20618-001.jpg" width="229" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For the background I chose to stitch the lines using my sewing machine! I'm not what you would call a sewer, but I thought I'd give it a try. First I had to change out the thread from black to white. I'm not gonna lie, I had to get out the manual to figure out how to do this! LOL! So I got it figured out and sewed my lines. Then I had three different choices for the flourish. I decided on the Cherry Lynn Flourish because you could see more of the stitched lines. So I had my panel ready and I matted it with white, and thought it needed a little somethin' somethin'. I thought a stitched edge would coordinate with the white stitching. So I dug through and found my Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies, and that was the ticket! Then I used my Waffle Flower Additional A2 Layers dies to mat the panel in white. I was going to leave it as it was, but then I decided I wanted to add a sentiment. I heat embossed my sentiment, die cut it, and then adhered it to my card. For the inside I left it plain with just a flourish die cut so a message could be written inside. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">That's all for now! I made this card for the <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/featured-stamper-132/fs883-%5B1-7-2024%5D-crooked-stamping-anyone-646070/">Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers</a>. I love the quilted look of this card and wanted to give it a try. I started by picking out some patterned paper and matching cardstock. Then I punched out all of my squares and started to make my pumpkin. I used a 1/2 inch square punch to make my squares smaller so I could make a 4.25x4.25 inch square card. I adhered my squares to some grid paper and decided to make a round pumpkin instead of a tall pumpkin. Then I cut around the pumpkin, ran it through the embossing folder and adhered it to the white square die cut. I added a kraft mat behind this. To finish the pumpkin I added a twine bow. For the background I used the floral orange paper that I used in my pumpkin, and matted it with white paper and adhered it to the card front. For the inside I made a strip of patterned paper, and I heat embossed the sentiment, die cut it, and adhered it to the inside of the card. That's all for now! Thanks so much for stopping by!<br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Terri</span></div><p></p>Terri Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05169282165552483977noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5748808609939591184.post-82585711067923853402024-01-01T13:53:00.005-06:002024-01-01T14:04:24.861-06:00Believe<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBG22YsztpPszMhgLsOv1dX_P7dz5IFnltIpmHSEYdckBmBFj_M7pXI4-Vg7-wNgRIUmo3mb8vR4RTKw4Ig15R6um6Rr579EBEiAWgSP8jHARuXoHajTS1tALkpRDB9QdWt44qvIgW1z9oLavN8vF82-tBkZ0Z_HHWFFdHIcbkI2YuqwdeFStLEyX3dAU/s2329/Believe%20Front.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2329" data-original-width="1661" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBG22YsztpPszMhgLsOv1dX_P7dz5IFnltIpmHSEYdckBmBFj_M7pXI4-Vg7-wNgRIUmo3mb8vR4RTKw4Ig15R6um6Rr579EBEiAWgSP8jHARuXoHajTS1tALkpRDB9QdWt44qvIgW1z9oLavN8vF82-tBkZ0Z_HHWFFdHIcbkI2YuqwdeFStLEyX3dAU/w456-h640/Believe%20Front.jpg" width="456" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiebhdkQVD2ZbLpm1SEWCEOvFFYkm8ZV1MIRQzc6j8aAnCv-ChTmHN-cEgJlUWA5TaVX5vIegRbHa4q0LPaYoMZJohDJ-6XWyDOcKX0PjR303g0PLkC8YNpxWjGaT83QceSFe4Sa1XUZY8jRxEj_BQd8sNN1To0yC9uo_6n1cB2mLxRbTHmeMKujXzoalw/s2359/Believe%20Inside.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2359" data-original-width="1775" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiebhdkQVD2ZbLpm1SEWCEOvFFYkm8ZV1MIRQzc6j8aAnCv-ChTmHN-cEgJlUWA5TaVX5vIegRbHa4q0LPaYoMZJohDJ-6XWyDOcKX0PjR303g0PLkC8YNpxWjGaT83QceSFe4Sa1XUZY8jRxEj_BQd8sNN1To0yC9uo_6n1cB2mLxRbTHmeMKujXzoalw/w482-h640/Believe%20Inside.jpg" width="482" /></a></div><p><span style="font-size: large;">Supplies: </span></p><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Stamps: SU Itty Bitty Christmas</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Paper: Gina K white, Simon Says Stamp Matte Silver Cardstock, light blue cardstock from stash. I love the Rustic Crate set, and I hadn't made a card with the poinsettas yet. So I was excited to ink it up! I started by stamping, die cutting, and coloring the poinsettas. Then I stamped the crate and die cut it. I die cut the rectangle from the SU Nature's Thoughts Dies, and stamped the sentiment. Then I added some wavy trim, and adhered the crate to the rectangle. To finish the front I popped up the poinsettas. For the inside I simply stamped a sentiment and die cut it with the same rectangle from the front.</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Thanks so much for stopping by!</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Terri</span></div><p></p>Terri Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05169282165552483977noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5748808609939591184.post-18359450225055084602023-12-17T17:40:00.006-06:002023-12-17T17:40:33.340-06:00Rainbow Birthday Wishes<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRW__DwV4OCgCUrg5NEW0i1rcMPn6gaG7HrQ358jiW5Jn-qA87TrJJMu01Nta2GM5DmA6_OMzhr_92P9xBWOCzUNH_hC5AjxgOJBiRXHJOdrTI7tfED9AyFsiRDpAlAEJ8_1eMoUxOIvJz5pzMhavmGW-ioEvkMDSQyvGu8Bxz73GvCtP17cp1xwL2GJE/s1949/Rainbow%20Birthday%20Front.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1949" data-original-width="1405" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRW__DwV4OCgCUrg5NEW0i1rcMPn6gaG7HrQ358jiW5Jn-qA87TrJJMu01Nta2GM5DmA6_OMzhr_92P9xBWOCzUNH_hC5AjxgOJBiRXHJOdrTI7tfED9AyFsiRDpAlAEJ8_1eMoUxOIvJz5pzMhavmGW-ioEvkMDSQyvGu8Bxz73GvCtP17cp1xwL2GJE/w462-h640/Rainbow%20Birthday%20Front.jpg" width="462" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNZIfU_LN84rHRysJ1nlZZqj6LUXObKPYmjBg2NyH7Bu17Yo2RdcwIM3AuyP_Lm6LktrqRqt4An5iVbOo-s32huKvgAT_kHBcU2e-mxdknTfdwGcZaRGfJ4WnPUtmIvPM27ez8iSzcdbJdE5aEPRZBos1c6p0ZD37pWQ3x0v9UQYPO3ZgJhb0H0u-Xayg/s2828/Rainbow%20Birthday%20Inside.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2828" data-original-width="2034" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNZIfU_LN84rHRysJ1nlZZqj6LUXObKPYmjBg2NyH7Bu17Yo2RdcwIM3AuyP_Lm6LktrqRqt4An5iVbOo-s32huKvgAT_kHBcU2e-mxdknTfdwGcZaRGfJ4WnPUtmIvPM27ez8iSzcdbJdE5aEPRZBos1c6p0ZD37pWQ3x0v9UQYPO3ZgJhb0H0u-Xayg/w460-h640/Rainbow%20Birthday%20Inside.jpg" width="460" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Supplies: </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Stamps: Julie Hickey: Sweet Sentiments Stamp Set (inside)</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Paper: Gina K white, Silver glitter cardstock, Bazzill Vellum, SU: real red, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight, gumball green, blueberry bushel</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU: real red, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight, gumball green, blueberry bushel</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Accessories: Gina K: Large circle die and Birthday Trio Dies, Brads, Pickett Fence blending brushes, Newton's Nook: Confetti Stencil</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Hello Stampers! It is Sunday and you know what that means, it is Featured Stamper Challenge Time on Splitcoaststampers. This week's Features Stamper is Karen is this is the card I chose from her gallery:<br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://images.splitcoaststampers.com/data/gallery/500/2021/03/11/98FE8CF7-F9AF-4DC5-AA70-C1801AC855AB_by_CardCountess.jpeg?ts=1615507424" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="800" data-original-width="600" height="400" src="https://images.splitcoaststampers.com/data/gallery/500/2021/03/11/98FE8CF7-F9AF-4DC5-AA70-C1801AC855AB_by_CardCountess.jpeg?ts=1615507424" width="300" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-size: large;">I really liked the confetti background and the rainbow colors in the patterned paper. So I started by stenciling on the confetti background. Then I blended inks on white card stock and die cut the Birthday Trio dies. I got that all assembled and put it on the background and it was all just too bright. The birthday dies blended in with the background and it was hard to see what it said. So I got out some vellum and layered that on top and that softened my background. I dug out some brads to adhere the vellum to the stenciled background. Then I adhered the Happy Birthday. For the inside I wanted to incorporate the rainbow colors from the front so I cut strips of paper and adhered them to the inside of my card. I stamped and die cut the sentiment and adhered that to the rainbow strips. And that completed my card! </span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Thanks so much for stopping by!</span></div><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: large;">Terri</span></div><p></p>Terri Jhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05169282165552483977noreply@blogger.com0
