You are my Sunshine

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampabilities
Paper: Gina K white, Yellows from stash
Ink: Brutus Monroe Detail Ink: Raven
Accessories: SU Stylish Shapes Dies, Patchwork Pieces Dies, and Hey Chuck Dies, Copic Markers

Hello Stampers!  I'm here to share a card I made for the Clean and Simple challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  The theme was: Let the Sun Shine in.  I thought of my You are my Sunshine stamp when I saw the theme for this challenge.  I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with it being it was so small.  Then I stumbled upon the Patchwork Pieces Dies, and chose to use the rays die as the background.  After I had it glued onto some white paper I trimmed it so there was a slight border.  Then I stamped and die cut the sentiment, and colored in the sun with some Copic markers. I kept the inside simple so a message could be written.

That's all for now!!  3 1/2 days of school left!!  Woo Hoo!!

Flower Pumpkin

Supplies:
Stamps: Hero Arts (inside)
Paper: Gina K: white and kraft, SU old olive, Chatterbox: Tangerine Pinwheels
Ink: SU Pumpkin Pie, and Distress Ink: Dried Marigold
Accessories: SU Linen Thread, Woodgrain embossing folder, SU extra large oval punch and modern label punch

Hello Stampers!  I'm here to share a quick and easy card for the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  Here is the card that I CASED:

For my card I used punch art to create my pumpkin.  I punched out three ovals and inked up the edges.  I adhered the three ovals together and then for the stem I embossed the green cardstock with the woodgrain embossing folder and punched the stem out of the modern label punch.  Instead of having a vine I added some linen thread around the stem, and added a bow.  I added some layers and adhered it to the card base.

That's all for now.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Birthday!

Supplies:
Stamps: SU Sweetly Scripted
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Distress Inks: Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, Saltwater Taffy, Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss
Paper: Gina K White, SU Sweet Sorbet

Hello Stampers!  I'm back to share another card.  I made this card for two challenges.  The first is the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches, and the second in the Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers: Spring Flowers.
For my card I started by stenciling the card panel.  Then I made a template to cut the diagonal lines.  I used it to cut my card panel and sentiment strip.  I stamped my sentiment and adhered it to the card.  I cut some 1/16" strips of sweet sorbet and adhered them on both sides of the sentiment.  To finish the card I added a few gems.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!  I'm sharing a card I made for the Featured Stamper challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  Today marks the 900th Featured Stamper challenge, and we were able to select a previous Featured Stamper for the challenge today.  I selected this card:

For my card I changed the orientation of the card.  I kept the same color cardstock, I liked how she used a grey card base with the white card panel.  I usually just to white on white, and this caught my eye.  I created a mask, and ink blended the background.  Then I spritzed on some water like she did.  Next I lined up the butterflies and sentiment in the Misti and stamped them.  For the happy I die cut it three times and adhered them together and then onto the card.  To finish I added some bling.  For the inside I lined up the butterflies and sentiment in the Misti and stamped it.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!
