Hello Stampers!  It's Sunday and it is time for the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  Here is my inspiration card:

For my card I started by adding texture to the focal panel using a cover plate die.  Then I stamped, die cut, and added glitter to the focal image.  For the ribbon I wrapped it around the focal panel and adhered it to the back.  And then I made a bow using the Bow Easy, because I couldn't get my bow to look right!!  I adhered the focal image with dimensionals, adhered the bow to the bottom of the focal image with a glue dot, and then I adhered the sentiment using mini dimensionals.  To finish the front I matted the focal panel with black and adhered it to the A2 card base.  For the inside, I stamped the Just Married image, and a sentiment underneath.

Anniversary Wishes

Supplies:  Stamps: My Sentiments Exactly  Paper: SU rococo rose, SU in color 6x6 designer series paper, 80 lb vellum, Gina K layering weight white  Ink: Gina K jet black  Accessories:  SU stitched lace die cut, SU clear faceted gems, SU daisy punches

I am loving the sketch challenges this week.  This card is using the Freshly Made Sketches sketch for this week.  

To make this card I started by die cutting the stitched lace die to make the border for this card.  Then I adhered the die cut piece to the gingham layer on the card.  After this I punched out 2 of each daisy and adhered the flowers together to make one full flower and attached it to the card.  Lastly, I used my stamp a ma jig to stamp the sentiment.  That's all for now!

Ruby Anniversary

My Mom and Dad celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary last in November (I know I'm a few months late in posting this, that seems to be the way things are going this year!).  And this is the card that I made for them.  Isn't that heart embosslit the best?!  I scooped it up very quickly when I saw it at Archiver's.  Too many new products, not enough time!

Featured Stamper

This week the featured stamper is CorieFoster, check out her gallery here. I cased this card from her gallery. I changed the ivory to white, I did not emboss the panels, and I added some green to the focal panel. This card will be for my husband's cousin who is getting married this summer, she is having a shower coming up in April.

Clean and Simple Challenge 3

Well this picture is the best I could get. It is hard to take pictures of white base cards! This is my card using pop dots. I cut out and embossed the scallop circle, and put the mango color behind it. Then I cut out and embossed my focal image and popped it up in the center. The focal image is from Amuse and I added sparkles to the bridal gown. The patterned paper and ribbon are both by Martha, and the stamp is by Serendipity that I bought at a rummage. Congratulations!

We have a wedding coming up in a couple of weeks, and I thought I would get the card ready now. I am usually making a card last minute driving my husband crazy…so he will be pleasantly surprised to know that this one is done…early! I used a couple of challenges for this card: Fall-to Layout 51 and CAS 24 at SCS. Since this is a clean and simple card, I will simply list the recipe below:

Wedding Shower

I am taking a break from the mess I made of my scrapbooking space! I am redoing my area and it looks like a tornado came through, UGH! So, I made a little path to the computer, because I remembered I forgot to post this card. Anywho, this is a card I made for my husband's cousin's wedding shower. It is another clean and simple card, just can't get enough of this style. The image is by Amuse and colored with copic markers. The heart is by Heidi Grace, the ribbon is from Joann, and the paper is by Carolee's Creations (old from my stash). I used the SU scallop border punch for the bottom, and cut my focal image out with nestabilities.
