Treat Bag Cover

When I saw this tutorial on Splitcoast I thought this would be a fun way to give fruit snacks as a gift for Valentine's Day. This was easy to make following the tutorial. The only change that I did was when I punched the holes I didn't punch through the bag, I used score tape to adhere the fruit snacks to the cover.

Stamp TV Weekly Sketch

This sketch was a fun one! I have a lot of bird lovers in the family so this will work for a few different people! I used the bird from the GKD set Home Sweet Home, and the sentiment is a new one from SU!! The paper is by basic grey, and I used an ek success border punch for the scallops.

Fall To Layout 76

I used the latest fall to layout sketch for this Valentine. I love the four squares in the corner! I really wanted to use this polka dot ribbon for this card. So I kept the squares plain since the pattern was in the ribbon. To coordinate my heart I embossed the red paper with swiss dots cb folder, and added white to the dots using a white gel pen. The sentiment is from the SU set Yummy. TFL!!

Thank You!

My Aunt made me some handstitched table runners as a housewarming gift, so I of course decided to make her a thank you card. I also recieved my Stampin' Up order...so I had to use some of my new goodies! I followed the tutorial by Gretchen Barron to make the square scallop border. I am still working on making the rectangle border with the new border punch...I'm not having much luck.. So for now I'll stick to the squares. I also purchased Heard from the Heart and was excited to use it, I just love this set!!! Then I broke out a stamp set that I had purchased at a rummage, and haven't used yet. I blinged up the butterfly with two tones of pink self adhesive pearls by Basic Grey.

Easel Card

When I saw the tutorial for the easel card on SCS I knew I had to try it. I decided to keep it simple because I love this patterened paper, and wanted to be able to see the pattern. The Happy Birthday stamp is by Hampton Arts, and I liked how the swirlys matched the pattern in the paper. I also added the ek success flourish punches to continue with the swirls, and then added some self adhesive pearls to bling it up. For the bottom I used another piece of the patterned paper and used a Martha border punch to add some texture. Thanks for looking!

Fall to Layout!

Another fun layout from the Clean and Simple blog. I also combined the CAS challenges from SCS: use teal and adding patterned paper to CAS cards. I stamped the flourish from the SU Yummy set, and the birthday greeting is by Gina K. from her Make a Wish set. Thanks for stopping by!

Candy Box

Chic N Scratch Live is a wonderful blog that I follow, she has wonderful video tutorials and I love the projects that she posts. This is a box that she recently posted: Sweet Pea Candy Box. I had to try it out! The box is really easy to assemble, and it went together fast. Now I get to pick out some candy to put inside this box!
