Happy Birthday to You!

Supplies: Paper: Gina K white and Tim Holtz watercolor paper, vellum  Ink: Tim Holtz distress inks  Accessories: embossing folder, stitched circle die, Sizzix birthday die cut, xyron

I made this for two challenges.  The first one being the featured stamper on SCS.  This week the featured stamper is "Rebeccaof" and selected this card to CASE.  I kept the rainbow color scheme by inking up my embossing folder, spritzed it with water, and then ran it through my Big Shot.  I ran a piece of vellum and white cardstock through my xyron machine and then die cut them for the focal image.
The second challenge that I made this card for is the Paper Players challenge.  It was to include die cut images onto your card.

Spring Tulips

Supplies: Stamps: Taylored Expressions: Spring Tulips  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white  Ink: Memento tuxedo black  Accessories: corner rounder, copic markers, gingham ribbon

The CAS challenge on SCS is to think Spring.  When I think of Spring I think of tulips and daffodils.  They are the first flowers to pop up in our yard.  So I decided to make a tulip card.  I stamped my focal image and sentiment, colored in my tulip, and added some gingham ribbon to make this card.

Season's Greetings

Supplies: Stamps: Lawn Fawn Home for the Holidays  Ink:  Memento tuxedo black and summer sky, SU craft white  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white  Accessories: circle die cut, masking tape, copic markers, clarity stamps stencil brushes

Today the featured stamper is redbugdriver.  She has a wonderful gallery to look through and find inspiration.  I found this card and and selected it because it reminded me of the Lawn Fawn set Home for the Holidays.  I kept the theme of Christmas the same, and made the following changes.  I kept my background white, and created the sky by masking off a circle and blending on the sky. Die Cut Birthday Card

Supplies: Paper: Gina K white, SU blue and orange, vellum, Lawn Fawn  Accessories: Lawn Fawn stitched circle and border die cuts, SU scallop circle punches, brad, linen thread, Sizzix Happy Birthday Die cut.

I made this for the sketch challenge on SCS.  I don't usually use vellum on  my cards, because it is hard to adhere without seeing the adhesive.  I ran it through my Xyron before die cutting it and it worked out really well!  I like how the vellum circle allows you to see more of the patterned paper.  I found this flower in one of my boxes, I had followed a tutorial and made a few.  The flower was the inspiration for this card.

Chocolate Is the Answer!

Supplies: Stamps: Amuse  Ink: Memento tuxedo black  Paper: Gina K white and chocolate kiss, Amuse patterned paper  Accessories: copic markers, ribbon, Sizzix die cut frame, fun foam, silver pen
The CAS challenge on SCS was to include chocolate onto your card.  I thought of these Amuse stamps right away!  For the frame I die cut a piece of fun foam to add dimension to the inlaid die cut.  I colored the images with copic markers and I used a silver pen to make the wrapper of the chocolate kiss.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Balloon Birthday Wishes

Supplies: Stamps: Mama Elephant and Amuse  Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black  Paper: Gina K base weight  Accessories: Wink of Stella clear marker, glossy accents, Lawn Fawn stitched rectangles

This week's featured stamper on SCS is Beverly Sue.  I chose to CASE this card from her gallery.  I kept the same theme and used a similar stamp, and kept the layout similar as well.  I made mine a one layer card by embossing the stitched rectangle die.  I embellished my balloons by adding glitter with the wink of stella marker and glossy accents.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
