My niece's birthday is right around the corner.  I found an old PaperTrey set called Heart 2 Heart #2 that I had gotten at a rummage sale, it even had the die cut in it.  I got the card idea right from PaperTrey's website.  I changed the colors, but the rest of it is a complete copy.

Die Cut Birthday

Long time, no stamp!  I thought I would pop in and share a couple of cards that I made today.  I went shopping yesterday and picked up this die cut.  I got inspiration from one of the cards I saw at Creative Pals.  I used the inlaid die cut technique for the birthday part of the die cut.  I'm not sure which one I like better.   I wish you saw more of the pattern of the paper on the first one.  I think the birthday stands out more in the second one.  What do you think?

Pumpkin Wishes

Well I tried something new today.  I made a double z fold card using a video tutorial from Angie at Chic N Scratch.  This is a great way to use some of your patterned paper.  I don't know about you but I seem to just collect patterned paper, so it was nice to use some.  It was a fun card to make!  You should give it a try!

It is Sunday once again, and I am playing along with the featured stamper challenge on SCS.  The featured stamper is Diana and she has a very nice gallery.  I chose this card as inspiration for my card.  I kept the layout the same and chose different patterned paper and images for mine.  I chose the cat image to go with the cat on Diana's card.  My two nieces love cats so I think I will send this one off to them.

I'm back with a featured stamper card from the challenge on SCS.  This week the featured stamper is Rebekah, and this is the card I chose to CASE.  I chose to keep the layout the same.  I changed the image, embossed the background, and used burlap paper instead of glitter paper.

Just Bee-cause

Long time, no stamp...  It was a busy summer, but I am hoping to get back into a routine of stamping now that I have more of a routine in my daily schedule.  Sundays bring us the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS.  This week I CASE'd this card.  I changed the buffalo check to an embossed panel, and I stamped my sentiment on my focal image.  This was a fun card to CASE, I love bumblebees and bee hives.
