Featured Stamper Challenge

Supplies: Stamps: Stampendous, Flourishes  Paper: ivory Ink: Versamark Accessories: gold embossing powder, rhinestone
Today the featured stamper on SCS is ChrissyI chose to case this card in her gallery.  I liked the simple design and the gold accents.  I picked up this stamp at a rummage this summer, I thought it was really cute.  And perfect for this challenge.  I didn't color my image, I changed the card base to ivory, and I left off the star accent since there was on my stamped image.
I really liked the gold accents on Chrissy's card, and wanted to include them on mine.  I went looking in my cardstock for some in gold metallic, but I didn't have any.  Then I traced a border using a gold pen, but the gold pen and my embossing powder didn't match.  Finally, I remembered that Gina K. had a video tutorial where she used the embossing powder to create a metallic edge.  So Gina K. saved the day on this card.  Thanks Gina!
Thanks for stopping by!
