Birthday Wishes

Supplies: Paper: Gina K white, ColorMates deep tempting tanzanite  Accessories: My Favorite Things BIRTHDAY WISHES Die-Namics MFT1475, Avery Elle wonky stitches die, Copic markers, SU confetti embossing folder

Hello Stampers!  Today on Splitcoaststampers it is the Featured Stamper challenge.  The featured stamper this week is Linda, check out her gallery here.  I chose the following card as inspiration for my card:

For my card I also used a birthday wishes die cut.  I colored mine with Copic markers, and stayed with the blue theme that Linda had on her card.  Then I die cut the wonky frame die, adhered the birthday wishes die cut on it, and then matted it with some blue coordinating cardstock.  For the background I chose to emboss it rather than using patterned papers.  And that completes my card.

Let's Shell-ebrate!

Supplies: Stamps: My Favorite Things: Too-Cute Turtles  Ink:  Memento tuxedo black  Paper:  PaperCut Hopstack, Gina K layering and heavy base weight white,  Lawn Fawn Really Rainbox 6x6 paper pack  Accessories:  Darice cloud embossing folder,  Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Borders, Spellbinders scalloped circle die cut,  Lawn Fawn Stitched circle die, Copic markers

It is Featured Stamper Sunday!  Today's Featured Stamper is Laurie.  She has a very large gallery full of fun images and designs.  I chose this card as inspiration for my card:

I kept the rainbow theme, found a similar image, and kept the design the same.  To make the card I started by embossing the cloud design on my back panel of the card.  Then I die cut the scalloped edges and adhered them to the rainbow paper strip.  Next I stamped, colored, and die cut the focal image.  And I adhered the focal image to a scalloped circle, and popped it up with dimensionals.  This was a fun card to make, I LOVE turtles.

Just Bee-Cause

Supplies:  Stamps: MFT Meant to Bee  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white and SU Daffodil Delight  Ink: Gina K black amalgam ink  Accessories: Copic markers, MFT Meant to Bee die set, Taylored Expressions honeycomb embossing folder

I made this card using two challenges.  The first being the Paper Players Theme Challenge: Spring Fever, and the second being the Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS.  Olga Jewel is the Featured Stamper this week, and this is the card that was inspiration for my card.

Here is how I made it.  I started by cutting the card from the heavy base weight white, then I added the daffodil delight yellow layer.  Next I cut out the white layer and added the honeycomb embossing to the corner of it.  For the bee hive I stamped and colored it with copic markers, and then die cut it.  Then I lined up my sentiment and bees using the Misti and stamped those images.  I colored in my bees, and then adhered the bee hive onto the embossed area.  That completes my card.

CAS Plaid Turtle

Supplies: Stamps: MFT Too Cute Turtles  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white and Lawn Fawn Plaid  Ink: Gina K Amalgam black  Accessories: MFT Jumbo Peek a Boo die set, SU scallop edge punch, copic markers

The CAS challenge on SCS this week is to use plaid.  I chose to paper piece the turtle shell using plaid paper and added a plaid scalloped edge to incorporate plaid onto my card.  To finish the card I colored the remainder of the turtle with copic markers.
