Rainbow Birthday

Supplies:  Stamps: Inkadinkado?  Paper: Gina K white and black onyx, Tim Holtz watercolor paper  Ink: Memento tuxedo black  Accessories:  Quickutz butterfly die cut, watercolors

Happy Monday Everyone!!  For me it is back to work... :(  Which of course means less crafty time. The CAS challenge on SCS is Winged Things.  I was looking through my cards and found the focal panel of this card, and I hadn't finished it.  Lucky me for this panel had a butterfly on it for the challenge!!!  I trimmed down the focal panel so I could mat it in black, and adhered my layers together.  That is as CAS as I can get! :)

Thanks so much for looking!!!

This week the featured stamper on SCS is Dani D.  I chose the following card as inspiration for my card.  I love the chalkboard look on Dani's card, and I remembered I had a similar heart stamp in my stash that I hadn't inked up yet.  I stamped and embossed the heart and sentiment, added a red ribbon, matted the focal image onto some red cardstock and then adhered it onto my card base.  Clean and simple as usual for me.

You're Turtley Awesome!

Supplies: Stamps: Sunny Studio  Ink: Gina K Amalgam and Versamark  Paper: Gina K artist's choice, heavy base white, and black onyx, Lawn Fawn perfectly plaid  Accesories: Lawn Fawn heart die, SU banner punch, detail white embossing powder, copic markers

The Free For All challenge on SCS is the theme of friendship.  I thought these two turtles look like the best of friends!! :)  I colored the turtles with copic markers, and die cut it into a heart.  I used Gina K's artist's choice paper.  The paper is wonderful for coloring with copic markers, the colors really blend well!  Then I stamped and embossed my sentiment and turned it into a banner.  I was just going to put the heart on a white background, but I went digging through my paper and thought this plaid complimented my turtles.
