Ink: VersaMark
Paper: Gina K white, SU powder pink, rococo rose, real red, old olive, Simon Says Stamp: Matte silver cardstock

Hey there!  I have a card to share with you that I made for the Paper Players theme challenge: Christmas.  For my card I assembled the gnome scene.  I used pink because this is for my niece.  Once I had the gnome scene assembled I die cut the sentiment.  For the background I die cut the card front, I really like that the silver peeks through the die cut card front.  Then I adhered everything together.  For the inside I heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it from a label.  I created a couple of layers for the sentiment.  And that completes my card!

Paper: Lawn Fawn 6x6 Perfectly Plaid paper pack, Stampin' Up: Cherry On Top 6x6 paper pack, Granny Apple Green, and Bermuda Bay
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Martha Stewart border punch, Studio Katia Summer Fusion sequins, Stampin' Up Foam Adhesive Strips, Impression Obsession egg die cuts

Hello Stampers!!  I made a card for the following challenges:

To make my card I started with the egg shaker.  Then I added the strip of plaid paper down the left side of my card.  I felt like I should have something grounding the egg, so I punched out the grass border using Martha Stewart's border punch.  I adhered this to the card front, and then adhered the egg to the card.  I used my Stamp a ma Jig to stamp the sentiment.  For the inside of the card I used the Stamp a ma Jig to stamp the sentiment, and then added a grass border with a couple of die cut eggs.

XOXO

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted: Sweet Little Sentiments
Ink: VersaMark
Paper: Gina K white, and Stampin' Up Real Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Gina K Squares large and small sets and Master Layouts 3, Brutus Monroe Alabaster White embossing powder, dimensionals, Simon Says Stamp: Filigree Heart, Concord and 9th Quilted Card Front

Supplies:
Stamps: Unity/Gina K You Had Me At Hello
Paper: Gina K white and Stampin' Up Real Red Glimmer Paper
Ink: Stampin' Up Real Red

Hello Stampers!  I made this card using two challenges.  One is the sketch challenge over at Paper Players
. And the other challenge is the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  To make my card I started with the Filigree Heart.  I die cut it, and then die cut a stitched square around it.  I framed this with some real red glimmer paper.  For the card front I die cut it with the Concord and 9th quilted card front die.  I adhered the heart to the card front, and then it was time for the sentiment.  First I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a black banner, but I didn't like it.  Then I stamped the sentiment in red on a white banner, again I didn't like it.  Then I thought can I heat emboss on glimmer paper??  So I gave it a try, and surprisingly enough it worked!  So I popped the sentiment up with some mini dimensionals.  For the inside I kept it simple.  I stamped the sentiment with real red on a white square and then matted it with some red glimmer paper.  I love all of the sparkle on this card.  It was hard to capture the glimmer in my photo.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Country Santa

Supplies: Stamps: Whipper Snapper Designs: Country Santa  Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black  Paper: Stampin' Up Cherry Cobbler, and Gina K Heavy Base Weight White and Kraft  Accessories: Gina K large and small set rectangles, Essentials by Ellen Twirling Flurries, Stampin' Up Stitched Snowflake Dies, Offray gingham ribbon, Stampin' Up Linen Thread, gems, Prismacolor colored pencils, Gamsol, blending tools

Hello Stampers!!  I made this card for the Paper Players Challenge: Ho! Ho! Ho! feature a Santa on your project.  To make this card I started with a Kraft top folding card base.  Then I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler and die cut it with the Twirling Flurries cover plate.  After I did this I noticed that there were some small circles cut out, so I put a piece of white cardstock behind the Cherry Cobbler.  For the focal image I stamped my Santa and die cut it with the double stitched rectangle.  Then I used a stitched snowflake and partial die cut these in opposite corners.  Next I colored in my Santa with Prisma Colored pencils and blended it with Gamsol, and die cut a rectangle from Kraft paper to frame it.  Adding my ribbon treatment was next.  I added the gingham around the card, and added a linen thread double bow.  To complete the card I adhered the Santa with dimensionals to the Cherry Cobbler panel, and then the Cherry Cobbler panel to the card base.

16th Birthday Card

Supplies:  Stamps: Taylored Expressions Wheely Great. Paper: Gina K white and black onyx  Ink: Memento tuxedo black, Distress Ink: tumbled glass Accessories: MFT dies, ribbon, copic markers

Hello!  I am turning out to be a weekend stamper with going back to work.  I certainly am enjoying the longer weekend!  I made this card using the theme challenge: Masculine over at Paper Players.  My nephew is turning 16 in October, so I made this card for him.  He will be getting his driver's license this year so I thought I would make a car card for him.  I dry embossed the MFT die cut to start the card.  Then I stamped the car image and colored it in with copic markers.  For the sky I just watched Jennifer McGuire blend her sky like this so it looks like a cloudy sky.  There's one spot I got a little too heavy with the blend, but overall I was happy with the sky.  Lastly I added some ribbon that looked like a road and added the panel to a black card base.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!!

Stitched Happy Birthday To You

Supplies:  Stamps:  Gina K Scripty Sayings  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white and SU melon mambo  Ink: Gina K jet black  Accessories: Needlepoint Elements Framelits Dies, ribbon from my stash, dimensionals

Hello everyone!  I made this card using the Paper Players sketch challenge this week.

Don't you love the stitched floral image?!  It is in the clearance rack at Stampin' Up.  I don't remember seeing this in the catalog, not sure how I missed it?!  It is perfect for making clean and simple cards!  And it worked great for this open sketch.  I started by cutting the white piece of cardstock to to fit the image and sentiment.  Then I ran the stitched die through the die cut machine and stamped my sentiment.  Next I added the ribbon and adhered the focal panel to a piece of melon mambo cardstock to match the ribbon.  I popped the whole panel up with dimensionals and this card was complete.  That's all for now.

Just Bee-Cause

Supplies:  Stamps: MFT Meant to Bee  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white and SU Daffodil Delight  Ink: Gina K black amalgam ink  Accessories: Copic markers, MFT Meant to Bee die set, Taylored Expressions honeycomb embossing folder

I made this card using two challenges.  The first being the Paper Players Theme Challenge: Spring Fever, and the second being the Featured Stamper Challenge on SCS.  Olga Jewel is the Featured Stamper this week, and this is the card that was inspiration for my card.

Here is how I made it.  I started by cutting the card from the heavy base weight white, then I added the daffodil delight yellow layer.  Next I cut out the white layer and added the honeycomb embossing to the corner of it.  For the bee hive I stamped and colored it with copic markers, and then die cut it.  Then I lined up my sentiment and bees using the Misti and stamped those images.  I colored in my bees, and then adhered the bee hive onto the embossed area.  That completes my card.

Thinking of You

Supplies: Stamps: So Hoppy Together and Hampton Arts  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight and layering white cardstock and black onyx, SU cucumber crush  Ink: Gina K black amalgam ink, versamark  Accessories: MFT rectangle scalloped frames and stitched fishtail flags, Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, SU layering circle framelits, googly eyes, copic markers, detail white embossing powder

Well today is my last day off, back to work tomorrow and then the weekend!  What a crazy weather week!!  Today I combined the Ways to Use It challenge on SCS (Going Dotty) with the Paper Players sketch challenge.  I die cut the scalloped rectangle frame in green and white.  Then I die cut a circle from the inside of the frame for my focal image.  Next I embossed the inside of the frame with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I adhered the frame and the inside of the frame to the card base.  Then I used my trusty stamp a ma jig to stamp the frog image.  I colored the frog using copic markers and then added some googly eyes, just because googly eyes are fun!  Lastly, I stamped and embossed my sentiment on a stitched fish tail die cut and adhered it to the card.

Paper Players Sketch Challenge

I made this for the Paper Players sketch challenge.  I love the patterns in the 6x6 Simple Stories paper pack, so I picked out 4 designs that I thought went well together.  I cut the pieces to match the sketch.  Lastly, I die cut the tag from a piece of patterned paper and added a sentiment.  I popped up the tag and added a twine bow to complete the card.

Snowy Cardinals

Supplies:  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white, DCWV paper pack, red scrap  Accessories:  Simon Says Stamp die cut, Impression Obsession die cut, dimensionals.

This week over at the Paper Players the challenge is to use negative space on your card, and to have a clean and simple design.  To keep the design clean and simple I used this birch tree die cut.  I thought using the snowy paper as my negative space made the birch trees stand out.  And then I found some cardinal die cuts and the contrast of the red against the background made the cardinals pop.  Lastly, I added dimensionals to the back of this focal piece and added it to my card base to complete this card.

Happy Birthday to You!

Supplies: Paper: Gina K white and Tim Holtz watercolor paper, vellum  Ink: Tim Holtz distress inks  Accessories: embossing folder, stitched circle die, Sizzix birthday die cut, xyron

I made this for two challenges.  The first one being the featured stamper on SCS.  This week the featured stamper is "Rebeccaof" and selected this card to CASE.  I kept the rainbow color scheme by inking up my embossing folder, spritzed it with water, and then ran it through my Big Shot.  I ran a piece of vellum and white cardstock through my xyron machine and then die cut them for the focal image.
The second challenge that I made this card for is the Paper Players challenge.  It was to include die cut images onto your card.

A Visit to Gina K

Supplies: Stamps: Gina K Hello Lovely  Paper: Gina K white and black cardstock  Ink: Gina K black, spun sugar and shaded lilac distress ink  Accesories: Tim Holtz rays stencil, gems, Gina K flutter by die, clarity stencil brushes
Yesterday we went to visit my Mom for her birthday and made a stop at Gina K's retail store.  She had samples using this Hello Lovely set right as you walked in and I was hooked.  Inspiration for this card came from her examples, The Paper Players Challenge, and the featured stamper on SCS.  I cased this card as  I participated in this challenge.  I kept the layout the same.  I used a different stencil, solid flower stamps, and added a die cut in place of a sentiment.  I have to rave about these clarity brushes again, they really make blending so easy!

Yet Another Timeless Tag

Supplies: Paper: Gina K black and white cardstock, yellow is Bazzill  Accessories: Timeless Tags Thinlits, scallop oval nestabilities, swiss dots embossing folder, dimensionals

The Paper Players challenge this week is a color challenge: Black, white, plus any color you choose.  I kept with my clean and simple style, and used the Timeless Tags again for my focal image.  I discovered that the scalloped oval nestabilities frame the Timeless Tags pretty closely and added this to my tag.  I added some texture with the swiss dots embossing folder and a little more black as a background to my white panel.

Supplies: Stamps: Lawn Fawn Happy Summer, Treat Yourself, A Birdie Told Me  Ink: Memento tuxedo black  Paper: DCWV pink, Gina K white, Accessories: Copic markers, Lawn Fawn A Birdie Told Me die cuts, stitched rectangle dies, twine, dimensionals

I was checking out the Paper Players challenge for the week and Lawn Fawn's Treat Yourself set came to mind.   Then I thought it would be cute if the ants from Happy Summer were crawling into the ice cream and it was their treat, as the ant on top of the ice cream yells, "Treat yourself!"  :)  I added some twine at the top to complete the card.  Thanks for looking!
