Hello Stampers!  It's been a busy day of running errands!  One of my stops was a cute little shop with home decor.  When I was there I saw a wooden egg with a gingham bunny on it with a twine bow.  I should have bought it, it was pretty cute.  But instead I decided to use it as inspiration for my card today.  I started with the focal image.  I die cut the egg and bunny using my Silhouette Cameo.  Then I added a twine bow and a pom pom to decorate the bunny.  I adhered it to the egg.  Then I added some layers and a sentiment to finish off the card.  For the inside I stamped the sentiment and die cut a smaller bunny.  This was a pretty quick card, once I found the papers I was going to use.
Also, I created this card for two challenges on Splitcoaststampers.  The clean and simple challenge was odd colors for an image and the free for all theme of Easter.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!  It is Sunday, and it is time for the new Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  This week's Featured Stamper is Christine and this is the card that I selected from her gallery:

To make my card I started with the focal image.  I stamped, die cut, and then colored the image with Copic Markers.  Then I mat it with a black layer. Next I cut a white panel and embossed it.  I adhered the focal image to the embossed panel, and then I added the twine.  For the sentiment I heat embossed it and then die cut it using the stitched fishtail and adhered it to the card.  To finish the card I adhered all of the layers.  For the inside I stamped, die cut, and matted it with black cardstock.  Lastly, I stamped and colored the single tulip.  That's what is great about Gina K's heavy base weight white cardstock.  You can color with Copics and it doesn't bleed through to the back side.

That's all for now!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Erin is the featured stamper, and here is the card I selected from her gallery.  I started by making the gnome.  I followed a tutorial on how to make a dancing gnome, and adhered it to the patterned paper.  I cut out the panels and mats and adhered these together.  I added some twine and a bow before I adhered the focal panel.  To finish the card I stamped and die cut the sentiment.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!  I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  This photo was my inspiration:
I just love gnomes, and when I saw this image I thought of my new gnome die that I got this week.  To make my card I started by assembling the gnome die cut.  I gave him a flower in hopes that we stop getting snow storms!  I am ready for spring!!  Then I thought he should be sitting in some grass, so I punched out a grassy border.  I left enough room below the border to include a sentiment and some twine.  From here I had a white background for the gnome, but I felt like it needed a little somethin' somethin' so I added the embossed cloud background.  Then I matted it with some gingham paper, and to finish the card I adhered it to my card base.

That's all for now!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!  Today's card is for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  Here is the inspiration card I selected:
For my card I started with a 4.25x4.25 square card base.  Then I heat embossed the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.  Next I stamped the bunnies and colored them in with Copic markers.  I wasn't quite sure what to do with so much white space above the bunnies.  I decided to stencil some clouds.  I'm not so sure I made the right decision.  I maybe should have blended some blue at the top and used some die cut clouds?!  After I stenciled the clouds, I die cut the yellow edge and adhered it to the back of the white panel, and to cover the seam I added some twine with a bow.

That's all for now!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!!  I am sharing my card that I made using this week's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.
I had a hard time thinking about what to use for the circles of this sketch.  As I thought more about it, I kept thinking about butterflies.  So I pulled out all of my butterfly punches and decided to use the Stampin' Up butterflies.  I arranged the butterflies and then adhered them.  I popped up the smallest butterflies with mini dimensionals.  After I had it all glued I felt like something was missing, so I added some bling.  I still thought something was missing so I added a sentiment, then I was happy with it.  For the inside I stamped the greeting and die cut it using the zig zag die cuts.  Then I added a black mat, and a few butterflies.

Hello Stampers!!  I made a card for the following challenges:

To make my card I started with the egg shaker.  Then I added the strip of plaid paper down the left side of my card.  I felt like I should have something grounding the egg, so I punched out the grass border using Martha Stewart's border punch.  I adhered this to the card front, and then adhered the egg to the card.  I used my Stamp a ma Jig to stamp the sentiment.  For the inside of the card I used the Stamp a ma Jig to stamp the sentiment, and then added a grass border with a couple of die cut eggs.

Hello Stampers!  It is time for another Featured Stamper challenge.  This week's Featured Stamper is Dina and here is the card I chose from her gallery to CASE.
I love sunflowers and when I saw this card I knew I had to choose it.  I started with a white square card base, and then added the black gingham paper.  For the sunflower I inked it up with Crushed Curry ink and then used a dauber to add some Soft Suede to the center of the sunflower, and then stamped it on white cardstock.  I die cut the sunflower using a square nestabilities die.  For the sentiment I used my Stamp a ma Jig to align the sentiment so there would be room for some twine.  I stamped the sentiment and added the twine.  To finish the card I decided to pop up the focal panel onto my card.
