Hello Stampers!  I'm back to share a card using the Freshly Made Sketches, Sketch of the Week.  My mother-in-law requested a graduation card for a family member.  His school colors are red and black and he has a red truck.  This sketch helped me combine all of the components for this card.
For my card I started with the truck.  I stamped it, and die cut it.  Then I did some partial stamping using the balloons from the stamp set Driving By.  Next I colored in the truck and balloons.  I also added the ground using a stamp from the Trucking Along stamp set.  For the vertical piece I die cut the numbers.  Then I decided the die cut the red panel with the Rubbernecker cover die, so I could adhere the numbers and truck to the red layer.  To finish the front of the card I stamped and die cut the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Stampers!  It is Featured Stamper Sunday!  Here is my inspiration:

I chose the card on the left as my inspiration.  I really liked how she used blues instead of greens on her poinsettia, with the accents of gold.  For my card I blended the image using the layered stencils.  Then I die cut the Merry Christmas in gold and outlined it in white, and popped it up onto the focal panel.  Then I added some gold gems.  I adhered this to the real red card front, and then worked on the inside.  I decided to die cut a poinsettia, and heat embossed the sentiment in gold to go with the front.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!  I'm here to share a card that I made for the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  Here is the scrapbook layout that I used as an inspiration for my card:

To start my card I blended a panel with Distress Inks to create the sunset sky.  Then I stamped the pine trees on this panel.  I matted this in black using the dotted border die, it is hard to see this detail in the picture.  Then I adhered this focal image to the DSP, and stamped the the Happy Birthday using my MISTI.  For the inside I stamped the sentiment and added a circle branch border to it.

That's all for now!  Thanks for stopping by!!
