Birthday Wishes

Supplies:  Stamps:  Well Said  Paper:  GKD heavy base weight white and black, My Mind's Eye: Happy Day 6x6 paper pad  Ink: VersaMark  Accessories:  Simon Says Stamp Sunflower Frame, SU  Well Written Framelits,  detail white embossing powder,  copic markers

It kinda felt like Spring today with temperatures as high as they were, so I decided to make a flower card.  This sunflower frame die, is just the best.  I love everything about it.  I die cut three of them and layered them to add some dimension to the card.  Then I paper pieced the blue sky around the sunflower.  I added a sentiment and I was done.

PaperTrey Birthday

Supplies: Paper: Gina K heavy base weight  Ink: Memento  Accessories: Spellbinders label, Offray ribbon, dimensionals
My niece's birthday is right around the corner.  I found an old PaperTrey set called Heart 2 Heart #2 that I had gotten at a rummage sale, it even had the die cut in it.  I got the card idea right from PaperTrey's website.  I changed the colors, but the rest of it is a complete copy.

Die Cut Birthday

Supplies:  Paper: Bazzill and patterned paper  Accessories: gems and Creative Expressions Happy Birthday Edger

Long time, no stamp!  I thought I would pop in and share a couple of cards that I made today.  I went shopping yesterday and picked up this die cut.  I got inspiration from one of the cards I saw at Creative Pals.  I used the inlaid die cut technique for the birthday part of the die cut.  I'm not sure which one I like better.   I wish you saw more of the pattern of the paper on the first one.  I think the birthday stands out more in the second one.  What do you think?

Pumpkin Wishes

Supplies: Stamps: Impression Obsession  Ink: VersaMagic pumpkin spice  Paper: GKD black onyx, Pressed Petals: Halloween stripe, GKD white  Accessories: score tool, early espresso marker

Well I tried something new today.  I made a double z fold card using a video tutorial from Angie at Chic N Scratch.  This is a great way to use some of your patterned paper.  I don't know about you but I seem to just collect patterned paper, so it was nice to use some.  It was a fun card to make!  You should give it a try!

Happy Halloween

Supplies:  Stamps: Stampendous  Paper: Pumpkin Pie, GKD heavy base weight white and black onyx, Bella BLVD too cute to spook,  Accessories: SU ribbon, copic markers

It is Sunday once again, and I am playing along with the featured stamper challenge on SCS.  The featured stamper is Diana and she has a very nice gallery.  I chose this card as inspiration for my card.  I kept the layout the same and chose different patterned paper and images for mine.  I chose the cat image to go with the cat on Diana's card.  My two nieces love cats so I think I will send this one off to them.
