A Christmas Story

Supplies: Stamps: unknown leg lamp, Gina K sentiment Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white Ink: Memento tuxedo black Accessories: Sizzix tags, rounded, copic markers

Hello Stampers!  Today's clean and simple challenge on SCS is a theme of What's on TV?  We have been watching Christmas movies lately, and my all time favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story.  Elf is definitely my second favorite.  What is your favorite Christmas movie, let me know in the comments below.

I dug out my leg lamp stamp and created this clean and simple card.  I dry embossed the rounded tag, stamped my image and sentiment with my stamp a ma jig and Misti.  I colored in my image and was done.

Believe

Supplies:  Stamps: Whipper Snapper: embellished believe Paper: SU cherry cobbler Gina K layering white Ink: Gina K jet black Accessories: Sizzix embossing folder, Spellbinders: reindeer and label die cuts, and red pearl embellishment

Hello Stampers!  Today brings us the Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper challenge.  The featured stamper of the week is Melissa.  Here is the card that I got inspiration from:
For my card I die cut the reindeer and labels and adhered them together.  Then I used my stamp a ma jig to stamp the believe sentiment on the focal image.  I also turned the reindeer into Rudolph by adding a red pearl to the nose. Then I embossed the background panel, added some ribbon at the bottom of it, and adhered it to the card base.  Lastly I adhered the focal image to the background panel.  This was a fun card to CASE!

Happiest of Birthdays to You

Supplies:  Stamps: Stampin Up Picture Perfect Birthday and Balloon Celebration Paper: Gina K black and white Ink: Lawn Fawn: lobster, carrot, peacock, and sugar plum Accessories:  Stampin Up balloon punch, Lawn Fawn twine, dimensionals
Hello Stampers!  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Today I made a card using the Freshly Made Sketches Sketch.  Here is a picture of their sketch this week:
For the three panels I stamped, punched out and added twine to the balloons.  When I stamped the balloons I stamped off first and then stamped the solid balloon.  Then I stamped the dots in full strength ink. Lastly, I found a birthday sentiment to put in the focal image.  I kept my design pretty clean and simple as usual ;)

Hello Stampers!  It is Sketch Challenge day on Splitcoast Stampers.  Here is the sketch of the week:
To make my card I embossed the trees, cut a sliver out of the focal image and adhered it to the gold foil paper.  Then I die cut the word merry out of the gold foil paper and adhered it to the focal panel.  Next I heat embossed the word Christmas, cut it out, and adhered it under the merry die.  I took the card panel and adhered it to the card base and I was done!  Isn't it great when the embossing folder does all of the work for you?!

Celebrate the Joy of Christmas

Supplies: Gina K Christmas Silhouettes and Christmas Greenery. Paper: Papercut wild cherry and Gina K heavy base weight white. Ink: SU real red and Gina K jet black. Accessories: Hero Arts tags infinity dies, gems, Sizzix embossing folder, ribbon, and twine

Hello Stampers!  I decided to make another card for the Gina K Designs Monthly Mix Challenge.  It was to use a tag and the colors red and white.  When I was going through my stamps I came across the poinsettia stamps and started from there.  I stamped the flowers on the tag, and found a sentiment that fit just right in the middle.  Then as I was going to adhere the tag to the card base it looked kinda blah.  So I embossed a white panel, I thought it resembled the shape of a poinsettia.  I popped up the tag and the card was done.

Gobble Gobble

Supplies: Stamps:  Lawn Fawn Turkey Day. Ink: Memento tuxedo black and rich cocoa. Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white and chocolate kiss. Accessories:  SU square dies and triple banner punch, Copic markers

Hello Stampers!!  The Clean and Simple challenge on SCS is the theme of Thanksgiving.  I don't usually make Thanksgiving cards so I only had a couple of images to choose from.  I thought this Lawn Fawn turkey was especially cute so I chose to use it.  I stamped the turkey, die cut it out of a square, and then colored it in.  I matted it with a scalloped square and adhered it to the card base.  For the sentiment I actually cut apart the stamp so I could stamp it in a long line.  I cut out the sentiment and used the triple banner punch to cut the tabs on the sentiment.  I popped it up using dimensionals and that completed my card.

Merry and Bright

Supplies:  Stamps: GKD Winter Hugs and Noelle Mouse  Paper: Real Red, GKD heavy base weight white. Ink: GKD jet black.  Accessories:  Winter Hugs die cuts, copic markers, snowflake ribbon, GKD tag die cut, GKD black heart, clear sequins, twine, dimensionals

Hello Stampers!  Gina K Designs has a monthly mix challenge.  This month is was to use the colors red and white and use a tag.  I CASED one of my cards to enter this challenge.  I changed the color scheme to red and white for my card today.  To make this card I started by partially die cutting my focal panel.  Then I added a ribbon to polish up the seam between the embossing and focal panel.  Next it was time to work on the tag.  I stamped, die cut, and then colored the snowman image, and adhered it to the die cut tag.  Then I added ribbon at the bottom of the tag and at the top of the tag.  Then it was time to add some fun details to the tag.  I started by adding a pom pom to the stocking cap, sequins for snow, and a paper black heart.  Then it was time to stamp the sentiment and adhere the parts of the card together.
This was a fun card to make!

Featured Stamper Hello

Supplies:  Paper: Hero Arts pitch black, Paper Cut wild cherry, DCWV silver foil, GKD layering white Accessories: Spellbinders scalloped circle, Memory Box tree blossom stitched circle frame, Cool Cuts hello twice

Hello Stampers!  This week the featured stamper is Mary on Splitcoast Stampers.  I selected this card to CASE:

To make my card I used the inlaid die cut technique.  I started with the scalloped circle, then added the silver frame, the white background, the black blossom branch, and then added the center of the flower with silver.  After the die cut was inlaid I added the red hello in the frame.  I popped up the focal image and that completed my card.  Thanks so much for stopping by!!
