It's Gotta Be A Deere

My husband's Grandpa is celebrating his birthday this week. He is a farmer if you hadn't guessed from the card, he and his wife still live on their farm but no longer have crops or animals. But when it is time for cutting the lawn he loves getting out his John Deere lawn mower! :)

I had found this paper a long time ago with him in mind, and forgot I had it until I had recently gone through all of my patterned paper to sell at a rummage sale. I don't even know if they make it anymore! The sketch is from a couple of summers ago when there was the Stampin' out Alzheimer's event online. I always liked the sketch and thought it would be a great sketch to show off a cool embossing folder or patterned paper that you didn't want to cover up. The tractor image is my River City Rubber Works, and I used forest moss ink by versamagic.

That's all for now! Thanks for stopping by!
