I just had to make this card, cased from the Featured Stamper CorieFoster's card. As I was trying to fall asleep last night I was planning it out in my head. So this morning before work I threw all together. My in-laws anniversary is coming up in May so this will be for them. It's nice to be able to get a jump start on some of the cards I need. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Featured Stamper
This week the featured stamper is CorieFoster, check out her gallery here. I cased this card from her gallery. I changed the ivory to white, I did not emboss the panels, and I added some green to the focal panel. This card will be for my husband's cousin who is getting married this summer, she is having a shower coming up in April.
Thanks for looking!

CAS Make Your Background
I made this for the CAS challenge at SCS to make your own background. I simply stamped the flower all of a 4x5.25 piece of paper, swiped on a little chalk to add some color, cut out an oval in the center, and popped it up on my card base using pop dots. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using a nestabilities die cut and attached it to the base.

Sending Smiles Across The Miles
What a busy week, the full moon had the children in my class at a new level of busy! I was exhausted at the end of the day...not even enough energy to make a card. Thank goodness for the weekend! I decided to do a sketch challenge to get back into the swing of things. This sketch is from Stamp TV, a nice CAS design!
Off to make a few more cards so I can post more often this week! Hope wherever you are, you are not getting the blizzard we are.... It was so nice to see the grass again and have some warmer temperatures.
Have a great week!

The All Day CAS Card
Oh my Goodness! I have not been able to make a card to save my life! I get started and nothing... I try something and I don't like it.... ugh! So this card took me all day to do and it is so simple. I would have thrown in the towel but I should have mailed this three days ago! So I stuck it out! I guess it is part of crafting to lose your mojo, I'm hoping mine returns soon. After completing this card I think it is on the mend.
I included a close up of the border at the bottom because it was hard to see it on the main card picture. I often forget about these fun borders. Glad I found them today.

CAS Valentine
Supplies: Stamps: Happy Heart Day and Dollar Stamp for sentiment Paper: white and cherry splash Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Rhubarb Stalk, and Summer Sky, SU Pear Pizzazz Accessories: Copic Markers, a sponge, SU heart embosslit and heart punch
First off I have to give a shout out to the Pack for winning the Super Bowl! It was a great game!! O.K. onto the card, I found this image a bit challenging to work with. I made two different cards and wasn’t happy with them, but then I added the sponging around the image and I had better luck! I kept it simple since the image was so large. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Embedded Embossing
What a cool technique! My Mom emailed me this morning with examples of this technique and I had to try it out! I didn't have the SU embossing folder everyone was using but I thought the Sizzix folder I had was similar enough for the effect. I die cut the su leaf die cut and glued them to a brown cardstock panel. Then I ran the whole thing through my cuttlebug using the Sizzix embossing folder. I flattens everything out so it appears to be one layer! Cool! It's a fun way to dress up a CAS card! Thanks MOM for sending me the link!
