It is Featured Stamper Sunday!  This week's featured stamper is Ankita, she has a very fun gallery to browse through.  I selected this card as inspiration for my card.  I had this stitched notecard all colored and blended in my stash.  So this card was pretty easy to put together!  I embossed the background and added dimensionals to adhere my stitched panel to the card base.

Time to Fly

Supplies:  Stamps: Gina K Warm Spring Wishes  Ink:  Gina K black amalgam ink  Paper: Gina K black onyx and heavy base weight white, Botanical Butterfly DSP  Accessories:  sequins, Gina K Circle Small Set Double Stitch Design, copic markers, dimensionals

It's Sunday so that means it is time for the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS.  This week the featured stamper is islandyu.  She had a fun gallery to cruise through.  But this card caught my eye, and gave me inspiration for my card.  I started by cutting the gingham panel and adhering it to the card.  Then I stamped my sentiment in the middle of the double stitched circle die cut.  Next I stamped and fussy cut out the butterflies, and colored them in with copic markers.  After this I adhered the circle to the card base, popped up the butterflies with some dimensionals, and added a couple of sequins.

Thanks so much for looking!!

Rainbow Unicorn Greetings

Supplies: Stamps: Avery Elle Be a Unicorn  Ink: Distress Inks: candied apple, carved pumpkin, lucky clover, mustard seed, blueprint sketch, Versamark  Paper: Strathmore Bristol watercolor paper, Gina K heavy base weight white  Accessories: copic markers, MFT jumbo peek a boo circle die cut, Lawn Fawn white and silver twine, white detail embossing powder, Wink of Stella clear marker

My niece loves unicorns, and I had purchased this stamp set with her in mind.  I came across it on my desk and was determined to make a card with it.  When I think of unicorns I think of bright rainbow colors.  So, I got out my distress inks and created the background of the card.  I have to admit it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.  I think it was partly due to the paper, the ink blended like butter.  Usually I have random dark marks when I use my distress inks, which is why I don't reach for them too often.  But after this card maybe I will.  After creating the rainbow I die cut the opening for the unicorn.  I used Gina K heavy base weight white for my card base, because when you use copic markers on it, the color doesn't bleed to the back of the cardstock.  I stamped and colored the unicorn and added sparkle using my wink of stella marker.  Then added my sentiment at the bottom using detail white embossing powder.  Lastly I added the white and silver twine to finish the card.  And I added the rainbow panel to the card base with dimensionals.

Well Done

Supplies: Stamps: Lawn Fawn Let's BBQ and Happy Summer  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white  Ink: Gina K black amalgam ink  Accessories: copic markers, gingham ribbon, Taylored Expressions Peek a Boo Circles die cut

The Clean and Simple challenge on SCS was to use repetition stamping.  I thought of my Taylored Expressions die cut with the three circles and thought that would be a fun way to include my repetition stamping.  I stamped my hamburger three times and colored them in, after I die cut the circles.  Then I added the gingham ribbon.  After this I remembered I had these cute ants and stamped them in the corner.  Lastly, I added my sentiment.

That's all for now, thank you for stopping by!!

Embossed Happy Birthday

Supplies: Stamps: unknown  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white  Accessories: Sizzix embossiing folder

This week the featured stamper on SCS is CraftyMeria.  After browsing through her gallery I found this card to use as inspiration for my card.  Instead of die cutting above and below the sentiment I used an embossing folder.  I also decided to keep my card all white.  This was a quick card to make, the embossing folder did all of the work on this one! :)

Hello Cupcake!

Supplies: Stamps: SU Hello Cupcake  Paper: Gina K heavy base weight white  Ink: Lawn Fawn: wild rose, celery stick, and doe   Accessories:  SU confetti embossing folder, SU rectangle stitched framelits dies, dimensionals

Hello Stampers!  It is time for the Featured Stampers challenge on SCS.  This week the featured stamper is Cookielady01.  I really liked her gallery, it had a lot of Stampin' Up cards in it.  I chose this card as inspiration for my card: Hello Cupcake Birthday Card. I have been wanting to use the Hello Cupcake set, and this card definitely gave me inspiration.  It is funny how when I start to make a card I have this idea in my head, and by the time my card is done it is completely different.  I had wanted to make this a one layer card, but ended up wasting too much paper and a broken embossing folder!  Whoops!  Thank goodness for Scotch tape, it seemed to work O.K after I taped the seam back together.  So anywho, I ended up embossing the base of my card with the confetti embossing folder.  Then I stamped and cut out all of the pieces of the cupcake.  I die cut my rectangle and adhered the cupcake.  Then I stamped my sentiment, die cut it, and adhered it to the bottom of my focal image.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!
