Graceful Snowflake

Supplies:
Stamps: Simon Says Stamp Christmas Blessings
Ink: Stampin' Up Petal Pink
Paper: Gina K white and Stampin' Up Petal Pink
Accessories: Gina K Stencil Graceful Snowflake, Simon Says Stamp Christmas Blessings Dies, Honey Bee Clear Gem Stickers, Stampin' Up Bitty Banners Framelits, Pickett Fence Blending Brush

Hello Stampers!  Todays card is for the Sketch Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  Here is a picture of the sketch:

For my card I started by deciding to make a pink card.  My sister has been requesting that I make her a pink Christmas card.  So here it is!  I love the color petal pink so I started by blending on the snowflake using the graceful snowflake stencil.  This stencil is so dainty I just love it!  Then it was on to the sentiment I stamped and die cut this sentiment, and die cut a few layers to pop the sentiment up a bit.  For the elements in the upper left hand corner I die cut some itty bitty banners and added a gem to them.  To complete the card I added some gem stickers and adhered my layers together.  For the inside I stenciled the graceful snowflake again and stamped a sentiment.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!!

Supplies: Stamps: Stampin Up Sky is the Limit Ink: Gina K ivory pigment ink, Stampin Up early espresso Paper: Carta Bella Old World Travel Propeller Plane, Stampin Up early espresso, Gina K ivory, Stampendous detail white embossing powder, blending brush, linen thread
Hello Stampers!  The sketch challenge on Splitcoaststampers is a slimline card!  They are very hard to photograph!!  Here is a picture of the sketch.
I had found this paper in my stash recently and thought it would go well with this sketch.  Then I thought the airplane stamp would go well with the background.  I stamped it and blended in some early espresso ink around the edges to match the patterned paper.  For the sentiment I stamped it in ivory ink and then embossed it with embossing powder.  To finish the card I adhered all of my layers together.

That's all for now!

Pierced Hearts Valentine

Supplies:  Paper: white and real red Accessories: Many Hearts Dies, Layered Square Framelits, scoring tool, real red ribbon

Hello Stampers!  I made today's card using the sketch challenge from Splitcoast Stampers.  Here is a picture of the sketch:

To make this card I had to go with a 5x7 card base so the hearts would fit across the card.  So after cutting a red card base, I cut a white layer.  Then it was onto the hearts.  I first cut out the pierced hearts, then used a solid heart to cut it out, and then I cut out another solid heart to go behind the pierced hearts and adhered them together.  After this I cut out the squares to go behind the hearts, and popped up the hearts onto the squares.  Before I adhered the hearts to the card I tied on some red ribbon at the top of the card.  Then I adhered the squares using a T-Ruler to help me line them up.  Next I added the score lines under the hearts.  Once this was done I adhered the whole panel to the red card base.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!!

Valentine Sketch

Supplies: Stamps: SU Meant to Be Ink: SU real red Paper: real red, white, and Sending Love 6x6 DSP Ink: real red Accessories: Spellbinders scalloped circle, SU stitched circles, SU Be Mine stitched framelits dies
Hello Stampers!!  Today is the sketch challenge on SCS.  Here is the sketch:

This was a tough one for me.  I am not used to putting lots of layers on a card.  And it was tricky picking out patterned paper that goes together.  Using a 6x6 DSP paper stack helped.  So I picked out three patterns that I thought went well together.  Cut the different panels, and adhered them to the card.  For the sentiment I stamped and die cut it with the stitched circle die cut, and then matted it with a scalloped circle.  Then I added my heart that I had stamped and die cut.  Lastly,  I popped up the sentiment to help it stand out from the card.

Life is Good

Supplies:  Stamps:  Lawn Fawn Life is Good  Ink: Gina K black amalgam ink  Paper:  Gina K heavy base weight white, SU pool party, sandpaper  Accessories:  Derwent inktense pencils, SU wavy embossing folder, dimensionals, Spellbinders circle die cut

Hello Stampers!  I made this for the Sketch Challenge on SCS, it is sketch number 800!  Whoa!!!  Here is the sketch:
I went with a beachy theme with summer on its way.  To start the card I embossed the pool party paper with the embossing folder, and then I added a strip of sand paper.  I tore the edge of the sandpaper so it would look like it was the water washing up on shore.  Then it was time to color the sandcastle...I started with copic markers and my browns just weren't blending the way I wanted them too.  So I got out my Prisma colored pencils and went for the Gamasol and it was all gone, again no luck.  Then I thought watercolor.  So I used my watercolor pencils and finally after three tries got the sandcastle colored in and fussy cut out.  I die cut a piece of the sandpaper with the circle die cut, and then tore the edge to make a base for the sandcastle.  I glued it on the white circle and then popped up the sandcastle.  Lastly I adhered my sentiment to the card base and popped up the focal image.  That's all for this card!

Sketch Challenge Snowman

Supplies:  Stamps: Whipper Snapper  Paper: GKD white and black  Ink: Memento tuxedo black  Accessories: Copic markers, tiny rhinestones, Cuttlebug embossing borders
I hope this finds you well.  I had some time to craft today and found some inspiration in the sketch challenge on Splitcoast Stampers.
The diagonal lines had me a little stumped.  But then I remembered that I had some Cuttlebug embossing borders from years ago.  I found a cute snowflake swirly border and started with that.  Then I needed to find an image.  I found this snowman from Whipper Snapper, and thought that would go well with the snowflakes.  I colored him in with copic markers, and popped it up on a black mat.  Then I glued all my layers together and added some teeny tiny rhinestones on the large snowflakes and I was done.

That's all for now,

Terri

Happy Easter

Supplies: Stamps: Inky Antics and Stampendous  Ink: Gina K black amalgam ink  Paper: GKD heavy base weight paper  Accessories: Square nestabilities, score board
The sketch this week on SCS was a tricky one for me.  I decided instead of using strips of paper for the lines that I would emboss them to keep a clean and simple look.  First I embossed the square, then I added the horizontal lines with my score board.  Next I stamped and colored in the Easter basket.  Lastly I used my stamp a ma jig to stamp the sentiment.
