For my card I changed the colors to kraft and white.  I used twine instead of ribbon on the side.  I used a vine instead of a swirl die cut, and I stamped and die cut my sentiment.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day weekend.  The weather has been so nice, I better get outside and enjoy it!!  Pretty soon it will be summer break!! I cannot wait!!

That's all for now,

Hello Stampers!  I am back to show you a card I made for the Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  This week's Featured Stamper is Kay and this is the card I selected from her gallery as inspiration for my card.

For my card I changed the orientation, and I embossed half of the card so I could add a sentiment.  I thought I had that snowman image, but after digging around I didn't have it.  I did find that cute snowman as I was looking for it.  I added a twine scarf on my snowman.  Things I kept the same are the oval cut out, and the ribbon.

That's all for now, thanks for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!!  I made this card for the Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoaststampers!   The Featured Stamper is Lesley and this is the card I CASED from her gallery:

For my card I cut a 4x5.25 panel and die cut an oval in the center.  Then I ran it through my die cut machine with the Cane Weave embossing folder.  I like the floral image Lesley used on her card, and I decided to die cut the floral images on my card, and stamped a sentiment in the center of the card base.  For the inside I stamped the sentiment and adhered some daisies to frame it.

Birthday Wishes

Supplies:

Stamps: Simon Says Stamp: Love Garden Greetings (Inside: Honey Bee Birthday Wishes)
Paper: Gina K white, Hero Hues: Pitch Black
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Distress Ink: Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron, VersaMark
Accessories: Copic Markers, Pickett Fence Blending Brushes, White Gel Pen, Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Embossing Powder, sequins, Simon Says Stamp: Love Garden Greetings Dies, Gina K Masking Magic (Inside: Stampin' Up Something Fancy Dies)

Hello Stampers!  It is Featured Stamper Sunday over at Splitcoaststampers.  Today's Featured Stamper is Barbara, and this is the card I selected to CASE.

For my card I started by masking off the focal panel with Masking Magic which I cut 1/2 inch strips of.  Then I adhered this to the focal panel.  Next I stamped the heart floral image, and blended the sky and ground.  I really like how she flicked on some more color on her blended background.  I ended up using a drop of reinker and watering it down a bit, and flicking on the color with a paint brush.  While this dried I stamped, colored, and cut out the heart florals.  I adhered these to the card base with 1/8 inch glue dots.  To finish the florals I added a bit of white gel pen.  I felt like it still needed a little somethin' somethin', so I added some clear sequins.  For the sentiment I stamped, heat embossed, and die cut the sentiment and adhered it to the bottom of the focal panel.  For the inside of the card I stamped and die cut the sentiment, and added a black mat.  Then I stamped, die cut, and colored in some butterflies.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!  It is graduation season!  My nephew is graduating high school next Friday.  To make the card I started with a black card base, then I die cut the quilted card front die in white card stock.  Staying with the stitched look I die cut a stitched circle in red.  I die cut and adhered the grad cap and diploma.  For the sentiment I stamped it and trimmed the sides with the triple banner punch.  Then I cut out a background to go behind the sentiment and punched the side with the triple banner punch.  I adhered the sentiment to the black strip.  Then punched out the opposite side with the triple banner punch to finish the sentiment.  For the inside I printed some clip art.
