Celebrate You

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' Up Happy Thoughts (inside)
Paper: Spellbinders Cotton Card Panel in Porcelain, Gina K white and black onyx
Ink: BetterPress Black and Memento Tuxedo Black (inside)
Accessories: Concord and 9th Stitched Vines Card Front Die, Spellbinders Essential Diamonds, BetterPress It's Your Day Sentiment Strips and Diamond Aviary, Watercolor pencils

Hello Stampers!  I am back with another card using the BetterPress system.  I wish the pictures would show the impression this system makes when you run it through your die cut machine.  For this card I ran the bird plate through the BetterPress in black ink.  This time I decided to use watercolor pencils instead of watercoloring with ink pads.  I used a combination of watercolor pencils from different companies in order to find the colors I wanted.  After I watercolored the image I die cut it with the Spellbinders diamond die, and also die cut a black mat for the focal image.  This just fit onto the A2 card base that I ran through with a card front die.  To finish the card I added a sentiment.

Ink: BetterPress Black, and Memento Tuxedo Black, Stampin' Up Melon Mambo, Garden Green, and Daffodil Delight
Accessories: BetterPress Platform, BetterPress plates: floral and It's Your Day Sentiment Strips, Stampin' Up Darling Details Dies (inside), sequins

Hello Stampers!!  It is Sunday and it is time for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  I selected this card as inspiration for my card:

To make my card I started by creating my floral image and sentiment with the Spellbinders BetterPress System!  I don't usually jump on board to new products so quickly, but after watching some YouTube videos I thought I should try this out.  I'm glad I did.  My pictures don't do this image justice.  The texture that is created is amazing.  To color in the image I was not able to use my trusty Copic markers, because the ink is an oil based ink.  So I watercolored the image...not my strong suit.  I'll keep practicing.  After the image was done I trimmed off the sides of the focal panel, and added a black mat.  To finish the card I adhered the focal panel to the card base and added some sequins.

That's all for now!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Ink: (Inside: Gina K Kraft)
Paper: SU Pool Party, Gina K White and Kraft, EK Success Tools: Assorted Wood Sheets

Hello Stampers!  Today is the Featured Stamper challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  The Featured Stamper is Tammy.  And this is the card I chose from her gallery as inspiration for my card.

For my card I started with a square card base in pool party cardstock.  Then I cut the focal panel in white and embellished it with some May Arts twine, and the leaf and sentiment die cuts.  I matted this with some Kraft cardstock and adhered it to the card base.  And that completed my card.

Ink: Stampin' Up Sahara Sand and Soft Suede
Paper: Gina K heavy weight white
Accessories: Gina K Master Layout 2, Stampin' Up layering circles framelits dies, Stampin' Up linen thread, dimensionals

Hello Stampers!  School's out for summer!! :) Here is a card I made for my dad for Father's Day.  To make the card I cut a white panel and die cut a circle out of it.  I stamped the background and adhered it to the card base behind the circle.  Next I added the twine and popped this panel onto the card base.  To finish the card I stamped and cut out the plane, and stamped and die cut the sentiment.  I adhered both of these to the card.

That's all for now!   Thanks so much for stopping by!
