Golfer Birthday

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' Up Clubhouse
Paper: Gina K White, Stampin' Up Basic Black and Scenic Coast 6x6
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Concord and 9th Sunburst Card Front Die, Waffle Flower Nesting Circles Die, Golfer Dies: Front: from Amazon, Inside: from a rummage, Stampin' Up Dimensionals

Hello Stampers!  Long time no stamp!  I'm not sure where the month of June went.  I'm here to share a birthday card that I made for my brother, his birthday is coming up at the end of July.  For my card I started by die cutting the golfer in black.  Then I die cut a three inch circle from a piece of the Scenic Coast paper pad for the background, and I adhered the die cut to the circle.  I decided to made a 4.25x4.25 card so I cut out a black card base, and 4x4 inch white layer.  When I laid it out the white layer needed something.  So I went through my card front dies, and found a sunburst one that I liked.  After I die cut the white layer I adhered it to the black card base.  To finish the front I popped up the focal image with dimensionals.  For the inside I stamped the sentiment and added a die cut golfer.  And that completes my card!  Now to start working on Christmas cards and tags!

Lighthouse Birthday

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' Up Phrases and Frames, Best Year
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Gina K White, Stampin' Up Night of Navy and Scenic Coast 6x6 DSP
Accessories: Stampin' Up Sunset Coast Dies, Something Fancy Dies, Dimensionals, Ribbon from Michaels

Hello Stampers!  It is Featured Stamper Sunday over at Splitcoaststampers!  Here is the card I CASED:

For my card I started by cutting the card front panel and it's navy mat.  Then I die cut the lighthouse at the top of the front panel.  I went through the different papers in the Scenic Coast 6x6 DSP and picked out a background for the lighthouse.  It was hard to choose, they are all so pretty!  After I picked one out I lined it up behind the lighthouse, and I traced the front panel onto the DSP, cut it out, and adhered it to the back of the front panel.  Next I stamped the sentiment, and adhered the ribbon treatment.  With the ribbon being a bit thick I decided to pop this up with dimensionals onto the navy mat.  To finish the front I adhered the card front to the card base.  For the inside I stamped, die cut and adhered it to the inside of the card.
And that completes the card!!

Stamps: Stampin' Up Branching Out
Paper: Gina K White, Stampin' Up Pecan Pie and Timeless Plaid 6x6 DSP
Ink: Stampin' Up Pecan Pie
Accessories: Stampin' Up Everyday Arches Dies, Autumn Trees Dies, Dimensionals, May Arts Twine, Taylored Expressions: Prairie embossing folder

Hello Stampers!  We have the day off today, so I squeezed in some crafty time this morning.  I used the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches to make this card.
I started with the focal image on this one.  First I die cut an arch and embossed it.  Then I die cut the deer in pecan pie and adhered it to the bottom of the arch.  After this I matted it with the next size up arch in pecan pie.  Then for the strip of paper I found this plaid that matched and cut a strip of it, wrapped twine around it, and adhered it to the white card base.  To finish the front I used dimensionals to pop up the focal image.  For the inside I die cut the deer scene and adhered it to the bottom, and stamped a sentiment.  And that finishes this card.

Hello Stampers!  My nephew is turning 21 on Halloween!  How did that happen?!  I can't believe how quickly he grew up!!  I did get some inspiration for this card, from a card I saw on Pinterest:
For my card I started by die cutting a vellum star and piercing it.  Next I die cut the 21 out of the silver glimmer paper and adhered them to the star.  After this I found the patterned paper, and adhered it to a white card base.  Next I cut out a kraft strip and stamped the sentiment on it.  I adhered this strip to the patterned paper, and then adhered the star as well.  I die cut a bunch of gold stars and adhered them to the card.  For the inside I stamped my sentiment and die cut a star out of it.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Stampin' Up Boho Blue

Hello Stampers!  It's been awhile!  I was busy finishing up my last couple of weeks of school.  Our last day was Friday, I don't think it has sunk in that it is summer yet.  Maybe it will tonight when I don't have to set an alarm!! :)

My card today is for 2 challenges.  One is the Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers: Make a Masculine card, and the other is the sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches.
For my card I started by picking out two pieces of patterned paper that coordinated, and getting them cut out.  For the focal image I stamped, die cut, stamped the sentiment, and colored the image.  I adhered the two patterned papers down, and then popped up the airplane.  For the inside I had a piece of the cloud paper, so I stamped and die cut the sentiment and adhered it to the patterned paper.

That's all for now!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!  I'm here to share a card that I made for the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  Here is the scrapbook layout that I used as an inspiration for my card:

To start my card I blended a panel with Distress Inks to create the sunset sky.  Then I stamped the pine trees on this panel.  I matted this in black using the dotted border die, it is hard to see this detail in the picture.  Then I adhered this focal image to the DSP, and stamped the the Happy Birthday using my MISTI.  For the inside I stamped the sentiment and added a circle branch border to it.

Hello Stampers!  Happy Easter!!  I had some time to make a card this morning, so I made a card for the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  Here is the card I CASED:
For my card I die cut the frame, and then cut out the center in white.  I picked out a couple of Distress Inks to ink blend the background sky.  Then I stamped the pine trees and bird, and then colored in the bird with a copic marker.  I embossed the front with a tree embossing folder.  I added some twine, but decided not to add a bow and just knotted it since it was more of a masculine card.  For the inside I stamped and die cut a sentiment.

Happy Father's Day

Supplies:
Stamps: SU Moon Lake, Stampabilities: Happy Father's Day
Paper:  Gina K White, SU Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Timeless Plaid 6x6 DSP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and SU Crumb Cake
Accessories: Ribbon from stash, Waffle Flower Nesting Circles Dies, SU Spotlight On Nature Dies, Banners Framelits Dies, Copic Markers

Hello Stampers!  I made a card today using the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.

For my card I started by picking out my DSP for the banner.  Then I picked out the focal image.  I stamped, die cut, and colored it in with Copics.  I wanted to add some color behind the design of the circle die cut, so I die cut a plain circle out of Mossy Meadows and adhered it behind the focal image. Then I picked out some ribbon and adhered it to the Crumb Cake layer.  Then I worked on the banner.  I decided to pop this up since the ribbon added some dimension.  Before I adhered to the Crumb Cake layer I cut the banner in half.  I adhered the top portion to the top of the Crumb Cake layer, and then I popped up the bottom portion towards the bottom.  This stretched out my banner enough for the card sketch.  So I adhered the focal image with pop dots as well.  The inside I kept really simple.  I stamped my sentiment and die cut it with the same circle as the front.

That's all for now!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Stampers!  The Clean and Simple challenge over at Splitcoaststampers is: National Napping Day.  I thought of this stamp combo as soon as I saw the theme.  Some of my best naps are when I am in my recliner! LOL!  This is a very clean and simple card.  I stamped my recliner and colored it in.  I placed the ribbon where I wanted it and stamped the sentiment.  I tied on some baker's twine to the ribbon to finish the card.  For the inside I kept it open.  This could be a Father's Day card or a masculine birthday card.

Hello Stampers!  I'm here to share a card for the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  Here is the inspiration card:
For my card I started with 4x5.25 white panel and stamped the circular frame where I wanted my focal image.  Then I die cut the inside and and outside of this frame.  I removed the frame and die cut inlay and embossed the snowflakes.  Before I put the die cut inlay back on the card front I stamped the trees.  Then I adhered the pieces together on a piece of soft suede layer.  I die cut the trees out of mossy meadow card stock and adhered them to the focal image.  For the sentiment I stamped it and die cut it, and then die cut the banner again in soft suede.  I offset the soft suede layer like she did with her sentiment.  I adhered all of the layers together and to finish the front a punched out an eagle from early espresso card stock and adhered it to the focal image.  For the inside I die cut the twig frame, stamped the sentiment and adhered the frame.  Then I added some more foliage to the bottom of the circular frame.  And that completed my card!

Driving By To Say Happy Birthday

Supplies:
Stamps: SU Driving By and Because You Care (inside)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and VersaMark
Paper: SU Real Red, Basic Black, and Zoo Crew 12x12 DSP, Gina K white
Accessories: Gina K Large Rectangle Die Set and Master Layouts 4, Brutus Monroe Alabaster White Embossing Powder, Copic Markers, and SU dimensionals

Hello stampers!  I'm back to share the birthday card that I made for my nephew.  He will be 19 on Halloween!!!  I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.
To make my card I started with picking out the DSP.  I chose the black DSP because I thought it looked like tire marks on the road.  Then I decided I wanted the car to be red so I made a red card base, and matted the DSP with black paper. For the focal image I stamped, die cut, and colored it in with Copics.  Then I heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it with a banner from Gina K's Master Layouts 4. and adhered them to the focal image.  To finish the front I popped up the focal image.  I kept the inside simple.  I stamped, die cut, and matted the sentiment and adhered it inside the card.

Happy Birthday

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' Up: It's Your Birthday, Anthony's Paper Craft: Thinking of You (inside)
Paper: Gina K White and DCWV Metallics Mat Stack (copper)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Spellbinders Cattails Die, Stampin' Up Nature's Thoughts Dies, 1 3/8 in circle punch, 1 1/2 inch circle punch, Dimensionals, May Arts twine

Hello Stampers!  It is Featured Stamper Sunday!  Today's Featured Stamper is Cindy and this is the card I chose from her gallery to CASE.
For my card I die cut the cattails in copper cardstock and adhered it to the decorative rectangle.  (If you have this Spellbinders die cut I would recommend adding a layer of wax paper then your cardstock when you die cut it.  The die pops right out compared to just using cardstock.)  For the strip of paper going across the bottom of the card, I used twine instead.  For the sentiment I used circle elements like she did, but I put them at the top instead.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy 50th Birthday

Supplies:

Stamps: Lawn Fawn Owen's ABCs
Ink: VersaMark
Paper: Gina K white, Stampin' Up black, garden green and real red
Accessories: Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, Lawn Fawn Meadow Borders, Brutus Monroe Alabaster White embossing powder, 1/2 inch circle punch, toothpicks, numbers from Silhouette Cameo, Stampin' Up pennant punch, Waffle Flowers Additional Circles dies (inside), Stampin' Up Something Fancy Dies (inside)

Hello Stampers!!  My brother is turning 50 this month!!  I saw this card on Pinterest:

This card caught my eye with the way they added the pennants.  So that was what I started with.  I heat embossed the letters for happy and punched them out with a 1/2 inch circle punch.  Then I punched out the pennants and attached them to some toothpicks using Glue Dots.  I layed these out and then picked out a circle for the golf ball.  I die cut a white circle and then embossed it with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.  Then I die cut the grass border and the numbers for the card.  It was tricky getting this adhered, but I finally got it.  For the inside I die cut the grass border and another golf ball.  For the sentiment I computer generated and printed it, and then die cut it.  I think I'll have to send him a treat with this, it is pretty thick to mail on its own.    Thanks so much for stopping by!!
