Hello Stampers!  I'm here to share a card I made for the Clean and Simple Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers: Pumpkins.  I copied one of my previous cards, but I used different inks for the blended background. I die cut and ink blended on the porcelain cotton paper.  Then I ran it through my die cutting machine with the Better Press system.  I matted it with a black arch, and finished it off with a twine treatment.  For the inside I kept it simple with a die cut sentiment.

Hello Stampers!  I've been a bit MIA.  With the new school year starting and then I got Covid my cardmaking time has fallen to the wayside.  But I'm back!  I am excited to share this card I made for the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  I absolutely love this skeleton pumpkin image!!  Here is the card I CASED:

For my card I started by ink blending the main arch layer.  Then I used the BetterPress system to letterpress the skeleton/pumpkin and sentiment.  It looks so cool!  Then I matted the arch with a black arch.  I wanted just a little something extra on the front so I added some black and white twine at the top.  For the inside I duplicated the arch look and added a die cut sentiment.  Easy Peasy this one was!

Butterfly Wishes

Hello Stampers! I am sharing a card I made for the Clean and Simple Challenge on Splitcoaststampers: Butterflies or Moths.  For my card I decided to use my Butterfly Swirls Better Press plate.  I selected three inks and inked up the butterflies, and I ran it through my die cut machine.  I trimmed the focal panel so there was a border around it when I adhered it to my card base.  I had ran a bunch of the sentiment strips through the Better Press, so I could just pick one and use it on my card.  For the inside I stamped and die cut the sentiment and added a couple of butterflies.  Well that's all for now, back to work tomorrow!  Ugh.

Hello Stampers!  I am back with another card using the BetterPress system.  I wish the pictures would show the impression this system makes when you run it through your die cut machine.  For this card I ran the bird plate through the BetterPress in black ink.  This time I decided to use watercolor pencils instead of watercoloring with ink pads.  I used a combination of watercolor pencils from different companies in order to find the colors I wanted.  After I watercolored the image I die cut it with the Spellbinders diamond die, and also die cut a black mat for the focal image.  This just fit onto the A2 card base that I ran through with a card front die.  To finish the card I added a sentiment.

Hello Stampers!!  It is Sunday and it is time for the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  I selected this card as inspiration for my card:

To make my card I started by creating my floral image and sentiment with the Spellbinders BetterPress System!  I don't usually jump on board to new products so quickly, but after watching some YouTube videos I thought I should try this out.  I'm glad I did.  My pictures don't do this image justice.  The texture that is created is amazing.  To color in the image I was not able to use my trusty Copic markers, because the ink is an oil based ink.  So I watercolored the image...not my strong suit.  I'll keep practicing.  After the image was done I trimmed off the sides of the focal panel, and added a black mat.  To finish the card I adhered the focal panel to the card base and added some sequins.
