Ready, Set Recline

Supplies:
Stamps: Amuse: Recliner and Ready Set
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Paper: Gina K White, SU gray (not sure which one)
Accessories: Ribbon from Stash, SU Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Copic Markers: N4, N2, N0

Hello Stampers!  The Clean and Simple challenge over at Splitcoaststampers is: National Napping Day.  I thought of this stamp combo as soon as I saw the theme.  Some of my best naps are when I am in my recliner! LOL!  This is a very clean and simple card.  I stamped my recliner and colored it in.  I placed the ribbon where I wanted it and stamped the sentiment.  I tied on some baker's twine to the ribbon to finish the card.  For the inside I kept it open.  This could be a Father's Day card or a masculine birthday card.

That's all for now!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Easter Blessings

Supplies:
Stamps: SU: Daffodil Daydream, Welcome Easter, Sweet Springtime
Paper: Gina K White, SU Gingham Gala 6x6 DSP
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and SU Daffodil Delight
Accessories: SU Textured Notes Dies, Linen Thread, punch, and Dimensionals, Copic markers, Honey Bee Gems

Hello Stampers!  It is Featured Stamper Sunday over at Splitcoaststampers!  Here is the card I CASED:
For my card I started by stamping, die cutting, and coloring in my focal image.  Then I cut a piece of yellow gingham paper to go behind my focal image.  Next I added some linen thread with a bow, and popped up the sentiment that I punched out.  I adhered this piece to my white card base, and finished the card by adding some gems.  For the inside I stamped the sentiment, added some gingham paper, and I found this sweet little daffodil image as I was going through my Easter supplies and decided to stamp and color it on the inside also.

That's all for now!  Thanks for stopping by!

Wishing You a Happy Birthday

Supplies:
Stamps: SU Delightful Wishes and Verses: Happy Wishes
Paper: Gina K White and Kraft, SU Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie
Ink: SU Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive
Accessories: SU Delightful Wishes Dies, Honey Bee White Gems, Concord & Ninth Basket Weave Die

Hello Stampers!  I made a card using the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.
For my card I started by die cutting a bunch of flowers and leaves and assembling them.  I wasn't sure how I was going to arrange them so I played around until I decided on the floral layout.  Then I die cut the sentiment "Wishing."  I wanted to put the sentiment "you a Happy Birthday" but the label die was too long.  So I stamped the sentiment, die cut it, and then moved the sentiment over a bit and die cut the label on one side again to shorten it and it fit!  I had everything layed out on the kraft card panel, and I felt like it needed some texture.  So I found the basket weave die and ran it through the die cut machine.  I liked the look, so I adhered the flowers and sentiment to the kraft panel.  I also found these white gems by Honey Bee in my pile of embellishments and thought they would be a fun addition to add some sparkle.  To finish the card I adhered the kraft panel to a white card base.  For the inside, I stamped a few flowers and a sentiment.
That's all for now!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Stampers!  I'm here to share a card I made for the Clean and Simple Challenge: Squares, over at Splitcoaststampers.  I decided to make a square card for this challenge.  To start I cut a white card base.  Then I cut a square panel and embossed it with the bee-cause embossing folder.  I matted this with some gold cardstock.  Then I decided to add some bees.  I stamped, heat embossed, die cut, and popped them up with some dimensionals.  To finish the front I stamped, die cut, and popped up the sentiment.  For the inside I left room for a message, and added a couple of heat embossed bees.

Paper: Gina K White, SU Basic Black, Simon Says Stamp Fog
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Lawn Fawn Flying By Dies, Dimensionals

Hello Stampers!  I'm here to share a card I made for the Freshly Made Sketches, sketch challenge.  For my card I started by cutting a piece of gray cardstock, and stamping on the trail of the paper airplanes and the sentiment.  The I stamped, die cut, and adhered the paper airplanes to the focal panel.  I did pop up the larger airplane.  I matted the grey focal panel with black, and then popped this up onto a white card base.  I replicated these layers on the inside.  I stamped a happy birthday sentiment, and then adhered the airplanes that I had stamped and die cut.  And that completed my card.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
