Hello Stampers!  I'm here to share a card I made for the Featured Stamper Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers. Here is the card I CASED:
For my card I started with some ink smooshing.  I didn't have any of the DSP for the water so I created my own.  Then I die cut and adhered the rolling waves dies in vellum and white, and adhered it to the ocean water layer.  Next I cut a piece of crumb cake cardstock and adhered the ocean to the top, stamped some sand where the Adirondack chair was supposed to go, and then adhered the Adirondack chair.  I tucked in a birthday sentiment using crumb cake ink.  To finish the front I adhered this layer to a white card base.  For the inside I used some of the ink smooshed cardstock and die cut the white foam to create an ocean layer on the inside.  To finish the card I stamped a sentiment.  I love this set and how detailed the ocean shore is.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hello Stampers!  It is Featured Stamper Sunday over at Splitcoaststampers!  Here is the card I CASED:

For my card I started with the background.  I inked up my acrylic block with distress inks and spritzed it with water.  Then I took my white piece of cardstock and placed it on the block.  I did this three times until I got one that I liked.  I let it dry as I worked on the other components of the card.  I ran some black cardstock through the Zyron and die cut the cattails twice.  Then I stamped the sentiment and die cut it.  I also stamped the sentiment on the inside and die cut it and matted it with black.  By this time my inked panel was dry.  I adhered the inked panel to a black mat, and adhered it to my card front.  Then I popped up the sentiment.  For the inside I adhered the sentiment and used a partial die cut of the cattails as well.  And that completed my card!
