My niece loves unicorns, and I had purchased this stamp set with her in mind. I came across it on my desk and was determined to make a card with it. When I think of unicorns I think of bright rainbow colors. So, I got out my distress inks and created the background of the card. I have to admit it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I think it was partly due to the paper, the ink blended like butter. Usually I have random dark marks when I use my distress inks, which is why I don't reach for them too often. But after this card maybe I will. After creating the rainbow I die cut the opening for the unicorn. I used Gina K heavy base weight white for my card base, because when you use copic markers on it, the color doesn't bleed to the back of the cardstock. I stamped and colored the unicorn and added sparkle using my wink of stella marker. Then added my sentiment at the bottom using detail white embossing powder. Lastly I added the white and silver twine to finish the card. And I added the rainbow panel to the card base with dimensionals.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
